Grow Like a Tree, Son

The pale red face with wrinkles 
With a warm smile spread across the face
My granny, 
Sat out on the porch 
Watching the intense dark sky with stars 
Taking me on her lap as I reached 
Giving me warmth 
Running her slim fingers across my hair 
You should grow like a tree, son
Said my granny 
I looked at her confused, 
Her small eyes filled with affection, 
Accompanied by a bright smile, 
Smiling at me she continued, 
You are a seed when born 
The soil, education 
The air, your friends 
The harder you work, the stronger the roots 
Water, sunlight, are like your parents 
The nutrients, your teachers 
With all necessities fulfilled,
You grow, son 
You grow independent 
Like a fine tree 
Providing shelter for everyone 
Fulfilling others needs 
Helping others directly or indirectly 
With a purpose for life 
Live a life worth remembering

I am a rock 
Weary of being hated 
I live in the desert of restlessness 
I stand there emotionless

The Dark Clouds

The dark clouds cover the sky
Hiding the moon and stars 
Creating dark, cold atmosphere 
Like the heart at depression 
But the clouds promise rain 
The rain which brings the smiles,
The rain which makes the world beautiful
The rain which everything depends on
The cold dark world gets beautiful,
The same world which was once depressive

Many surprises

We Talk

Today we talk 
We may talk tomorrow too 
We put our hearts out and talk 
With many inner confessions 
The feeling of wanting to be together forever 
We talk, enjoying the wonderful moments 
We go with the flow though we don't know if we'll always be there for eachother forever 
There might come a break 
When we can't talk 
I might make an effort and talk 
We might continue talking again 
When I'm tired of making effort, what will you do? 
You might have hurt me 
I might have hurt you 
In the corners of heart all I want is you 
The pain of what you said is long gone 
The pain is because I miss you 
All I want is you to comeback 
But will you come back? 
Will you make an effort 
Or will you leave me like I'm toxic 
My heart might break when you leave 
I'll pass through a vulnerable stage
I will start living with the memories of ours
 But each day is death, 
When it is not sure if you'll leave or stay

Will you be the light 
In my dark world

With My Wife By My Side

The scent of the flowers reaching my very soul, 
I walked along the park,
In the bright sun for a morning walk, 
Waving to my regular park friends

All of a sudden there was chaos everywhere, 
I reached my house immediately
The news of end of planet reached ubiquity 
Nobody could go anywhere 

My eighty year life was going to end 
I saw into the eyes of my wife 
Calm and bright face like a full moon 
Which could save a life, 
We will die together with no misunderstandings
In the end of life, 
Said my wife with smile spread across her face
We fought every struggle with bliss, 
We will together reach paradise

My face was like the bright blue sky 
As I awoke from the nap, 
It's fine even if the death reaches me now 
With my wife by my side, 
Her face with bright smile spread, 
I am ready for the endless sleep

Years of hard work
Now, 
We have everything 
A complete world for you and me 
We lack nothing 
Job holding respect 
Money sufficient for anything 
Fulfilling all our needs, 
Also sufficient for our future children

I used to care for you the most 
But one day you hurt my feelings
Guess you forgot to apologize 
I'm waiting to hear it, with high hopes 

I had to make my brain rest
