Pnz Zulu Poem
In the dark I sit
All emotion
No motion
Will there ever be light
I’m still on the outside
A hurricane inside
Tryna control my sky, land and sea
Give me the white flag
I’m ready to set it free
Will a flower ever grow from here
Will I ever blossom or merely disappear
Into the sunken bags under my eyes
Get me out of this whirlpool
I can’t breath
I’m drowning in my own tears
100 voices and not one is glad
Maybe sadness is my happy place
I need a ticket pass away from here
Even if it’s for a day
The weight is too much
To wait is too much
99 emotions and they’re all the same
I’m tired

Pnz Zulu Poem
Don’t feel sorry for me
I already feel sorry for myself
You can’t love me
I don’t even love me
Even if you leave me
I left me a long time ago
There’s nothing you can do to me
That I haven’t already done to myself
Other than love me
Can you love me

Pnz Zulu Poem
Awake or asleep
You still play through my mind.
You empty every tear duct and lift both corners of my mouth.
Whether I’m happy or sad
You fulfill and reach every inch
Circulating, dispersing, filling until I’m full.
When words fail me, misbehave and sentences cannot stand in line
I look to you to say what I cannot
To put together my thoughts.
To relay what I am failing to convey
Why can’t I connect the dots?
Your existence is bigger than I will ever be
Without intention you capture my heart.
I use you when all else fails
Everything always fails.
Hear me when I say
You are one I cannot live without
I cannot live without you,
Music.

Pnz Zulu Poem
Don’t love me
Before I love myself
Don’t shout your praise and affection
When I just learned how to smile
Don’t note my talk as it doesn’t match my walk just yet
Give me time
Keep yourself to you
I’ll try and keep me
Don’t look my direction when I’m still trying to find my own reflection
Don’t look at me
Please don’t see me
Give me time
Don’t love me
Yet

Pnz Zulu Poem
Why don’t you love me
We’ve been through highs and lows
I’ve been black and blue
I’m the only one who knows
The good and the bad
Are all engraved in my heart
There’s nothing I don’t know
Just give me a chance
Hug me
Smile back
Take a second to look at me
You’re all I have
Please love me
Don’t rush to pass the mirror
I’ve carried your weight in love
See me
See you
You’re perfect
And you’re loved
By me
By you
Love me back
