Robert Nyaanga Poem
On the ground held by the neck.
My air pipes blocked.
What the hell is happening?
I can’t believe I am dying.
Dying, just because of my color
Where do I leave my kids?
Where do I leave my mama?
Where do I leave my wife?
I can’t believe I am dying.
Dying, just because of my color.

Robert Nyaanga Poem
Another day full of questions my son.
You decided to wake up late.
While you knew you the nation needs you.
Here you are just confused where to start.
Why did you decide so?
I just heard rumors you have a kid in the hills.
We have had many conversations about marriage.
Where is my daughter-in-law?
Where is my grandson?
Why did you decide so?
A friend in the city told me you are doing drugs.
Like a straight tree I trimmed you well.
Do you remember your uncle in jail?
Do you remember the fate of Nyang’au?-Life Imprisonment
Why did you decide so?
Do you remember the prayers of your mum?
Can you reminisce when you used to sing in the choir?
It not out of conjecture, I know you are a good person
The child I sired can be a man of society
Why did you decide so?
