Coronavirus

Coronavirus has good and bad timing
I know that a lot of people are dying
 The animal’s well-beings are inclining
The animals and plants really are thriving
The ecosystem’s cleanliness is climbing
So while this is hard on all of the living
The world has become a better planet
Even we are still a little panicked

Am I Enough

I am not enough.
And you’ll never hear me say that
I am perfect just the way I am.
I will always think
I am not loved.
And I won’t ever think that
I am enough.
I am not enough.
And I’ll never ever say that
I am enough.
(palindrome poem)

Flamingo

thought:
     ever so pink
     extremely fluffy
    rather intelligent
   positively feathered
  noble, soft, superior
 positively intelligent
 ever so sharp flying
contented flying
fluffy! a beak
 wings eating
 sharp! thought
  hearts do they?
    legs very pink
         pineapple
       a flamingo
      somewhere ever so pink
    very sharp noble, smart, astute
very sharp edged beak eating, apace
very sharp intense peck feeding, apace
so fluffy tall branches waving, silently
 feathered provident legs hurried, silently
 longstanding stages, flossy wings, distinct
 abundant branches, downlike wings, intelligent
longstanding stages, soft wings, intelligent snoot
longstanding branches, fluffy wings, distinct snout
sesquipedalian legs, fluffy wings, intelligent nozzle
ever so longer pegs hurried, silently the night a
its agelong legs winged, silently do they?
          oblong legs flight, silently man
             acute nib eating, apace
                  positively fluffy
                       ever so sharp
                       crikey snooze
                        pink! large!
                        could guess
                        long! crazy
                        heart alive
                        gotta large
                        still hearts
                        legs eating
                        legs do they?
                        guess my people
                        ever so sharp
                        a flamingo
                     do they?
                   my friend
                   long had
                   time ask
                  young man
                  state hot
                   and ask
                   legs and
                    in pop
                         are
                         can
                         hot
                         all
                        young
 very sharp ever so pink
 flamingos are so pretty

What Is War

I can hear a distant ringing,
But where is it coming from?
I can smell smoke,
But where is it coming from?
I can see their dead bodies,
But where did they come from?
I can taste ashes flying into my mouth,
But where are they coming from?
I can feel the weight of a gun,
But where did it come from?
(talks about emotionally falling into a pit of despair)

Response To the Lost Cow

“I am not lost,” said the cow
“I am just not found.”
And so he wandered through
The plains aimlessly as
Though he had no purpose
And as he wandered he
Began to see all the
Wonderful sights, smell
All the wonderful smells,
Hear all the wonderful
Sounds, feel all the wonderful
Feelings, taste all the
Wonderful flavors and he thought
To himself, “Now I know that
I am found.” and he began to
Appreciate all the things that
He hadn’t even noticed before
He noticed the sparkle of the
Grass with its early morning dew
He noticed the trickle of the
Creek with its fresh mountain runoff
And he thought to himself, “So this
Is what it’s like to be found.”

To Feel Content Is To Feel Great

Content is golden.
It sounds like the peaceful creak next to your favorite tree.
It tastes like fresh chocolate chip cookies, right out of the oven.
It smells like spring with its mouth watering floral smell.
Content feels like flying, you will never want to come down.

Money Vs Friends

Who… needs money when they can have friends?
What… do friends have that money doesn’t?
When… will people realize that money isn’t everything?
Where… are friends during times like these?
Why… would people rather have money than friends?
How… can we live in content without friends?

A World Without You

A world without you
            is absolute misery
            what would I do?
            what would I say?
            Our
World without you would be nothing
you are the sun, the moon,
             the stars
Without you everything means nothing
              life is hopeless, there would
              be no meaning
You are what brings us together,
              not gravity, not coincidence
you are the absolute center of the Earth
the entire world depends on you,
thrives on you and that is why
              you are everything
