Corona Virus

Corona virus sent to try us
Unnerve Confuse deplete divide us
It comes to scare it comes to kill
The vulnerable the old and ill
It spreads it’s panic it spreads it’s fear
It’s harsh unjust mortal ,severe
Dark and viscous it seeks and thrives
Culling the weak ending lives
Misery uncertainty you cannot comprehend
Deviant Inimical it’s aim is to offend
It feels like a movie it feels like a dream
Locked down and scared I want to scream
Fear of the doorbell fear of the street
Fear of the people I once used to meet
Fear for the loved ones I cannot be near
Fear of the virus fear of the fear
War is atrocious but the enemy’s clear
But the Invisible virus will never appear
It’s in the air it’s on the ground
On things you touch it’s all around
it seeks and finds the weak and old
And suffocates until their cold
It has no conscience no concerns
It feeds and thrives it lives and learns
Destroys and ruins breaks and hates
Silently it decimates
It Spreads so fast it’s hard to cope
There is no cure there’s only hope
It deals in death as it passes by
No comfort for the ones who die
Annihilation? is it’s mission
It needs no help or no permission
A wake of tears and misery
Is the only trace it leaves to see
Its pray is helpless and will not know
Until it’s time for them to go
Hungry for another soul
It now ramps up The human cull
Seas and borders no protection
The world now waits for its infection
A tiny mist of human breath
Will make you ill or cause your death
So hide away beyond detection
Spare your kisses your affection
Hide so you may be ok
And live to fight another day
Hide so there will always be
A hope for our humanity
It will not relent There is no cure
So Stay indoors and lock your door
Spare your touch and wash your hands
Observe the rules advice and bans
Save your kisses save your hug
And we will beat this deadly bug

Laughter

Laughter lightens every room
Draws the shadows from the gloom
Puts joy in hearts smiles on faces
colour creeds breeds and races
Laughter helps the blind man see
Universal unity
It cures the sad and kills the tears
Numbs the pain and drowns the fears
It crosses oceans travels space
Works it’s magic any Place
What ever time what ever weather
Laughter brings us all together
Infectious and addictive good and free for all
Not laughing when you have the chance is frankly laughable
So keep on laughing having fun
For you will remember when your done

Hiding

It feels like a movie it feels like a dream
Locked down and scared I want to scream
Fear of the doorbell fear of the street

And suffocates until their cold

It feeds and thrives it lives and learns
Destroys and ruins breaks and hates
Silently it decimates
It Spreads so fast it’s hard to cope
There is no cure there’s only hope
It deals in death as it passes by

Dark Obsession

Invading thoughts it feeds away
Has to have its fill each day
No diversion intervention
Just one focus one intention
Fevered thinking crazed and blurred
Advice and warnings are not herd
Addiction looming all consuming
Normal life is not resuming
Deeper in the dark I go
Cracks and edges start to show
But still the draw the shining light
It Makes it worth it makes it right
Blinds me to the hurt and pain
Keeps me craving keeps me sane
I Know Deep down things are wrong
But Cannot stop cannot be strong
It’s Taken over it has control
It has my heart it has my soul
It drives me wild it drives my days
Leaves me lost inside my maze
All that’s left is my confession
Save me from this dark obsession..

Lz X-Ray

La Drang valley 65
with air support we stay alive
The VC out number 5 to 1
The Lz X ray over run
the stench of death hangs in the air
Fallen soldiers everywhere
Bullets crack and shatter bones
Piecing screams and dying groans
napalm dancers lose there skin
Burning faces shrink and grin
3000 strong they Came in waves
To meet the shells that dug there graves
No time to say there last good byes
As He’ll fire rained from swarming skies
Col more the last to leave
the first to land the first to grieve
The Lessons learnt would turn the tide
A small victory for all those who died
The war was never going to end
now they know how to defend
Still more troops were sent in vain
More blood was spilled more hurt more pain
10 more years till sense prevailed
For all who tried but sadly failed
This war was wrong and now it’s clear
Don’t live in judgment or in fear
We all have the right to make a choice
Live together have one voice
Or have the freedom to evolve
Question figure and resolve
A different opinion a different law
It’s definitely not worth killing for

Armageddon

Life has changed we live in fear
Stay safe take care are all we here
The lockdown has started but when will it end
Will the system break or will it bend
Will this world ever be the same
Who’s to punish who’s to blame
Marshal law is now the rule
As the virus searches dark and cruel
Ones you care for and love so much
Are locked away denied our touch
The Streets are silent the laughter faded
Our first class lives are now downgraded
Distances, a thought in constant motion
Provokes alarm creates emotion
Relationships suppressed devoid
Programmed now to swerve avoid
survival and self preservation
Cover and Consume our nation
Armageddon holds its breath
fills its lungs with every death
Waiting in the wings of life
To make its entrance flail its strife

Old Time Gangsters

BFN JHD gangster or celebrity
Side of the ride Having fun
Q the smoking Tommy gun
Slick suits and boots wide brimmed hats
Banks go down around these cats
No fear of law no fear at all
Do what they want until they fall
did they all go out in a blaze of glory
Or was there end a different story
Dodging bullets dogging feds
Mega bucks upon there heads
Were they greedy were they lazy
Born to steal or just plan crazy
The Windy City not so pretty
Shootings beatings tough and gritty
live life fast and pay the price
were they naughty were they nice
no remorse and no regret
happy with the end they met
always there for us to see
Their written into history

Tivolee Gardens

Justice demands that the guilty must pay
But Coke and his posse did not see it that way
July 7th 2001
in came police
And the killings begun
The Shower posse arm to the teeth
3 days violence a lifetime of grief
More drugs and more guns more money and power
And No force or no army could take down the shower
The police under fire some dying some dead
Dinero o plomo , money or lead
Dudus is hunted Kingston is beat
They fight for the don they fight for the street
Coke and his posse joined At the hip
But unlike a captain he abandons his ship
The battle is raging but he’s nowhere In sight
Leaving his people he runs from the fight
A month Or 2 later it’s the End of his gig
As he’s Caught at the border wearing a wig
Extradited to the US to serve 23 years
And just like his farther it will all end in tears.

Spider

Whats that creeping up my Wall
Black and hairy Fierce and scary
Climbing boldly higher and higher
Oh no it’s dropped it’s near the fire
Creeping slowly towards my bed
I stamp on it and now it’s dead

Our Nhs

Into the battle into the war
Like hero’s that had gone before
Caring and Courageous , passionate and calm
Our shining stars are fighting hard , to keep us all from harm
Selfless and committed , they are where they belong
Critical invaluable , they keep the front line strong
Without their skills and knowledge the virus will invade
The NHS will fight until the progress has been made
So spare a thought for all of those who nurse who clean who plan
Show respect and give your thanks and help them if you can
For wars are won with people standing side by side
So Do what’s right whats needed and we can turn this tide
The scale of this is frightening it’s really off the chart
But Together we can beat this although we are apart
