When We Grow Old

It's true that one day we'll grow old
Maybe we'd be like pack of cigarettes
Stashed near the cupboard
Laying near the broomstick
Bundled together with worn-out ropes

Like cables that are patched with tapes
Walking around with sticks long laden with thoughts
Accumulated for ages and Sun-beaten
Maybe we'd be tan already from life's sun-heat
Or Wed feel like old locks whose keys have been lost

They say we might be like cupboards with worn hinges
Or broken bottles on dumpsites
Or maybe we'd be like car garages
With old tools laying around
Or bolts whose turns have gone out of turns

What they say seem to scare me
That being old isn't much of a blessing as we'd thought
Should I stay and grow stricken in age
What if feebleness sets in?
Would this life still be meaningful to me?

Oh! What if life is as beautiful as a blossoming tree
Like nocturnal flowers by the river side
What a sight in site that would be
Yes, I'd love that; growing old would be
Meaningful

Lost

Gasping for air, I passed out
Thinking about what we could be
Sad and depressed I feel
Looking back or forward
I'm lost

Tossed into the Ocean
And yet I didn't get wet
The beginning of horror
Pure sadness
Uncloaked I feel

Kneeling beside the truth
Yet avoiding the judgment
Oblivious of what was being said about me
I drove into the dark side of thoughts
Breaking the speed limit

Untarred road layed before me
Reeling sounds I hear
Or am I deaf?
Maybe, maybe not
But I hear something

I hear the silence
Yes, it's so loud
Louder than the noise around me
It's power surge is great...
Powerful weakness

Love Me Truly

Don't tell me to go when you need me to stay
Don't tell me 'no' when you mean 'yes'
Let's be truthful to each other
We need not feminise life issues
No where was it written aforetime
That ladies should say opposite of what they mean

When I said 'I love you', I didn't mean the opposite
When I said 'I want forever', I didn't mean the opposite
So why tell me to leave when you're bleeding inwards?

I'm genuine
Can you be that same with me?
Let's be 'one' and not 'you and me'
Let's be bound in one
Just tell me what you want
Be plain
I want your heart to be for me

I'm your man
You be my woman
You be my Queen
Let me the King in your story
Tell me your heart
Let our hearts communicate

Let's be different
Others might be the opposite sayers
Remember we don't have the same fingerprint
Let's choose to be different
Let's be honest with each other
I love you and I mean it

I want you and I mean it
I want the best for you
But remember to be truthful with me
I trust you to do same as I am with you
