Coming Full Circle

COMING FULL CIRCLE ©2020dBwordresearch

We walked away from youth,
 In a dance called life.
Some steps were joyful,
Others were in strife.

It gave us a song,
Often times a chance.
We learned of love,
 As we learned to dance.

We played our own music,
 With the life we lived.
Now it's all sweet memories,
 That we have to give.

We finally come full circle,
Back to where we've been.
Youth is where we started,
But our circle has no end.

Don'T Wake Me Please

DON'T WAKE ME PLEASE

TO THE UNKNOWN TOMBS DO I IMPLORE
SEEKING LOVE LOST YONDER YORE.

THROUGH THE MISTY MUSE I'M COWARDLESS
REEKING CURSES UNHEARD ONLY POWERLESS.

ADHERING TO YOUR CLUTCH HYPNOTIZED BY TOUCH
ONLY TO REACH UTOPIA LIKE FANTASIA OR OPIUM.

SEARCHING MY SEPULCHER ONLY TO ENCOUNTER
YOUR TRANQUILLITY SEALED UNTIL INFINITY.

FINALLY REALIZING DREAMS ARE HYPNOTIZING SO I'LL
GO ON WITHOUT IT.

DON'T WAKE ME PLEASE

Gifts of Thought

Gifts Of Thought. 2020 dBwordresearch

Savoring thoughts of you, though apart.
Unwrapping them I feel a warmth in my heart.

Guile

GUILE..©2020

JESUS POSSESSED NO GUILE, THE SCRIPTURES ARE TRUE,
HE WALKED AS A MAN THROUGH THIS WORLD A WHILE.
SENT TO ATONE, BUT HIS MANNER WAS KIND
NO DECEIT WAS FOUND IN HIM, BUT ALONE.

DISHONEST HE WAS NOT, HONESTLY HE SOUGHT GOD'S WILL.
FATHER NOT MY WILL, BUT THINE HE REPLIED PRAYING FOR
THE CUP TO PASS. RESPONSIBILITY WAS HIS TO FILL. HE SANCTIFIED
HIS CHURCH AND CLEANSED IT AND WASHED IT WITH WATER BY THE WORD.

HE IS A FRAUD THEY ACCUSED, PROCLAIMING TO BE GOD.
JESUS WAS, OFFERED THE WHOLE WORLD IF HE WOULD SURRENDER.
ATTACKED AT HIS WEAKEST POINT WHEN HE HUNGERED AND THIRST.
FORTY DAYS AND FORTY NIGHTS, HE NEVER FORFEITED HIS SPLENDOR.

WHO WILL BE THE GREATEST IN OUR ARENA AS WE FIGHT.
BUSINESS, SPORTS WORLDLY PLEASURES. WE ARE, CAUGHT UP IN A
WORLD OF DECEPTION. WHAT COMES FROM THE MOUTH IS FROM THE
HEART. SPARE THE ROD SPOIL THE CHILD WILL NOT LEAD TO PERFECTION.
GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN TO LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR A FRIEND.

The Memory of You

The Memory Of You. ©2020 dBwordresearch

I will always have your memory that no one can take away. I've
kept things the way they were, which helps on lonely days.

We adored and honored each other more than ourselves. Love, kindness, gentleness natural attributes weren't compelled.

My heart Is savoring all my thoughts of you even though
apart, gently I unwrap them often to feel a fire that glows.

The years you've been in heaven I think of you freely.
Like giving up an occasional beer knowing it pleased me.

God is the head of our family you were the head of the house.
I followed along knowing that I was loved and belonged.

Discord seldom came but solved before the sun went down.
Each other's needs came first, making it easy for love to abound.

I know your watching over me as I wait for you patiently. Our marriage was custom made in Heaven, just for you and me.

Memories of Mother

Memories Of Mother ©2022dBwordresearch

I'll always have your memory that no one can take away
I think of you often, which helps me through lonely days.

Love, kindness, and gentleness lived where we dwelled.
Mother, we're still honoring you since God said farewell.

My heart savors all the thoughts of you, even now apart.
Quit often; I unwrap them to feel the warmth in my heart.

While you've been in Heaven, I think of you frequently
Of all your heartfelt tenderness with love and intimacy.

You helped lead our family; Mother, you were strong
We followed, knowing we were loved and belonged.

Discord was seldom but solved before the sun went down
We were fortunate, Mother; you could always be found.

I know you're watching from above and waiting patiently.
Our family was made in Heaven; there you wait for me.
