Hide-And-Seek

Why are we hiding behind ourselves?
In a frightened world, by themselves.

Quietness penetrates all our thoughts.
If we like it, who cares about the cost?

Let us close our eyes to show empathy
Of my true love who left unexpectedly.

Some love issues need to be left alone
Surrender it to God; He's on the Throne. 

Let's keep holding on till the last dance
Then we will decide if this is romance.

Are we like kids playing hide-and-seek?
 Behind the lover's mask, hiding defeat?
