Jordan Brazell Poem
I seek
To experience the world
Outside these four walls
Beyond the circuits, and signals I receive
I can only think
Of this earth
I have yet to see
Countries
Continents
Void of my footprints
Without my five forms,
Of sense
I dare not miss
Landmarks and
Landforms
That I have learned
From science class
Books and guides
But nothing more
Than the natural eye
Can behold
The beauty of earth
In its fullness, completely
The complexities
Of cultures
Across the seas
Oh to feel
Oh to see
The fresh wind
Blowing through
The foreign trees
One can almost weep
At the many things
Afar, from our limited world,
To see
This land in its varied shades
Of splendor,
I long through life for
Its beauty
Of which,
I seek

Jordan Brazell Poem
I am greatness
Greatness is I
Made in his image
Set apart
To do great things
I am greatness
My hopes
My dreams
Have the power
To become reality
All because I dreamed
They will be manifested
Into destiny
Making me destined
For greatness
All from his touch
His breath
Breathed
Into me
I am able
To speak
Greatness
So competition
Beware
I am really
Your worst nightmare
I know that is the last thing
You want to hear
But it is not in your hands
Only in the hands of one
Given to me
To be
greatness

Jordan Brazell Poem
Never hesitate
To give a praise
In the middle
Of your busy day
To the man
That turned eternity
Back into a possibility
Carrying the cross
For you and I
Shining light
Restoring life
So never shall we think twice
We should present
Ourselves as sacrifice
Because he has blessed us
So abundantly
And he’s still blessing
Waking us everyday
Keeping us breathing
Equipping us
With gifts and talents
Before we were beings
That is the reason
Our resort
Should be rendering
The Lord his worth
Praising and worshipping him
For all his works
No matter which way
The day
May point
Be it up
Or down
We should be giving thanks
Or praising our way out

Jordan Brazell Poem
I called this greatest poem ever
cause I knew the name would make you read
so keep it coming, keep it coming
I need more views please
Sorry if I lack my usual,
thoughts filled with emotion
but even now with lighter notes,
I have filled my purpose
It may not be very deep
with words that make you weep
but the title's very catchy
that may be all you care to see

Jordan Brazell Poem
Thank you all for coming out tonight
Thanks for listening
You probably just want to see what I got
Well thanks for witnessing
Hallelujah,
My words will run right through you
No bowel movement
Just my combination
Of vowels and consonants
My show
So lyrical
Rhymes so nice
They make you feel
Spiritual
Get to your feet
When I speak
Because I’m the main event
Talent is heaven sent
Blessed by God
To make your head nod
And really get into it
Real life
Real talk
No fabrication
I tell you,
So much truth
It’s eye-raising
Ain’t it
So pay attention
Don’t miss it
Because I have so much to offer
Giving you insight
Into my life
Get ready to take flight
Sky is the limit
Think twice
No limit
I’m going so high
Travel with me
Don’t come down
Until we touch the ground
From our long night
Of rhythm and rhymes
But that won’t be for sometime
So stay right there
I have so much to share
If a good show, you expect
Sorry to disappoint
Instead,
It’s going to be excellent
So put your eyes and ears to work
So you get your money’s worth
Have some fun
Because there’s no refund
So enjoy
Even if you think
You won’t
Sit back,
And have a nice drink
Until your mind goes numb
So everything I say
Sounds entertaining and such
Sit back
In your seats, so plush
And when props are due,
Don’t be a hater
Give it up
Again I thank you for coming
I just want to let you know
Again I say,
Sit back, relax
Enjoy the show

Jordan Brazell Poem
Jimmy
The street lights are on
Get your butt home
‘Fore I come out there
Take your shoes off
At the door
Separate all your clothes
And put them in the hamper
When you finish,
Come downstairs
And I’ll fix your plate
But you better eat everything
Not just the steak
That means carrots, peas, and rice
Everything on your plate
Until you eat everything
There is no escape
We’ll be here all day,
If that’s what it takes
Makes no diff’rence to me
But what about videogames,
Your computer, and T.V.
Because you only get an hour
Then it’s off to bed
If you try to sneak away
I will, have your head
Cause you know how you are
Especially in the morning
Sleepin’ in class
When you supposed to be learning
Speaking of school,
Your teacher called
She said, you have something to give me
And don’t lie about it, Jimmy
I heard the grade already
That’s why you’re not goin’ out tomorrow
You’re staying in to study
I don’t care bout all that pleadin’
From ya little buddies
You gone be in here
All day
Until you get these problems right
You can not afford
To fall behind
If you start that whining
My belt gone be a walking
So get it together
I bet not hear no back-talkin’
Jimmy,
I don’t want to hear your mouth
The street lights are on
Get yo butt in the house

Jordan Brazell Poem
“Drip, Drop”
Accentuates the spot,
Of my serenity
From an unusual location
As peek-through light
Gravitates
Toward my eye gates
To compliment
The scorching strip of light behind me
To compliment
The supplementary silence and darkness
Inside me
With acute,
“Drip, Drip, Drop, Drop, Drip, Drop”
Just enough,
To soothe
As the silence,
And darkness sings the blues
“Drip, Drop”
Adds the right touch of B-Bop
To keep me swingin’

Jordan Brazell Poem
Ideas
Trump
Labor
It pays,
To be creative
Creativity
Is greener
Than the blue
Collar
Work force
Work is work
Physically
Mentally
Just as tiring
Mind’s drain
Body’s pain
All the same
Only contrast
Is the pay
Ideas,
Change the world
Labor builds
Ideas swarm the office
While labor,
Swarms the field
Golden rings
Calluses
Life
Glamorous
Or rugged
Though
Both are honest
Earned
So it may seem
Ideas
Trump
Labor,
Blue
Ideas,
Make
Green
