To Be Free

To Be Free To Me Means
the wind in my hair
pushing me forward and backward across an infinite landscape
feet barely touching the ground
grounded by the presence of nature surrounding me
running as fast as I possibly can
nothing, no-one to hold me down
to be free.

dear gd, please let me free.

One of Those Days

Silently Screaming
at the top of my lungs.
Dripping in Sweet Smiles
while my lungs fill with tears.
Until I'm
Drowning.
Grasping at the image of the girl I used to be.

Social Confusion

I often feel confused
I love my friends with all of my heart
But I want more
I want
sticky floors
blurred nights
that feeling of being content
                     being wanted
                     being admired
I sometimes forget what surrounds those desires
whispered lies
fake friendships
empty eyes

So now I'm stuck
In this place of appreciating what I have
And always wanting more.

The Moments In-Between

right now
in my spare time alone
waiting for my noisy friends
I listen to the ebb and flow of the rhythm

and I allow myself to feel lonely.

just for a minute
I gently touch the madness inside me

before pushing it back down deep.
