Evening Gibberish

The human mind is a strange thing, fragile yet complex. For some it shatters at the slightest problem and for others it never shatters. Some learn the trick to avoid depression, anxiety and stress and other spend a lifetime struggling with it. Some have a hard time moving with life and other struggle with life going too slow. Pray one day the answers to my late night gibberish will be answered and these problems can go away.

Thermopylae

thermopylae still haunts me to this life. The sights I saw, the blood I spilled. When my men stood tall I stood taller. For every Persian my brothers killed, I killed two. When the sun set are sights were set. Tonight we dine in hades, with all the Persians we take with us.

Weekly Monologue Number One

Weekly monologue 1.
What is Christmas? What is the true meaning of Christmas? These are questions that many ask areselfs. What is Christmas is one most people know but of you dont know it is the day jesus was born. That question is important for the second question. Christmas is referred to by many nowadays as the time were you exchange gifts. But I ask myself why do we exchange gifts on Christmas. Is it a scheme by big corporations to make large amounts money or does it have a more wholesome reason? It's a combination really, you exchange gifts because that is to remind us of the gifts the wisemen bestowed upon jesus at his birth. However Christmas is over ramped by corporations in search of a profit but nonetheless rooting from the birth of jesus. In conclusion it can be noted that jesus is the reason we celebrate Christmas. Hold on time out. What about santa and Christmas trees. Well we have Christmas trees because for thousands of years fir trees were used by pagans to celebrate winter festivals. It also represents "the tree of life" from Genesis 2:9. Santa comes from a fourth century land of Turkey who gave to the needy around the winter months. He is now used for parents to give cool gifts to there kids at Christmas with the kid not knowing it was the parents until they are older. Now to finally finish, Hold on theres one more thing why do we have stockings. This is a rather good question. It is believed that a family long ago had the mother die and the father was left to raise 3 daughters alone. St.Nicolas heard there story and left them bags of gold by there fire place. The 3ed bag was put in a sock hung over the fire place to dry. Hence the reason we have stockings. Thus concludes weekly monologue 1.
