May

T'was like autumn at May,
Where the sun vaguely sprinkled
Its delightful rays
At the tree which bore
Thy love that reigned
And shed its leaves
Like drops of rain.

T'was like autumn at May,
When the wind blew
Chilling the colors out of you
Where the rain slowly simmered
The misery it conveyed
Like how our love slowly died
In the cold winter winds of hate.

We fell out of love,
On that month we call 'May'.

Artist

Do, re, mi
Do you still remember me?
I sat in front of my piano, wondering where the voice was coming from.
And I pondered, oh I pondered,
Who are you? And what do you want?

I heard nothing.
Not a single breeze of wind had whispered within my ear.
I began to play the sorrowful melodies of the Moonlight Sonata;
Each note began to linger and so were the memories the music bear.

It felt so heavy yet comforting,
T'was filled with misery yet t'was comely.
My hands danced with the melody oh so gracefully.
And so did my heart that was once filled with agony.

Do,
Do you remember me?
Whose heart reeked in passion and chased happiness endlessly?

Re
Reminisce the time where innocence was a spitting image of you.
You who knew nothing and craved for the knowledge of everything.
You, who had a glimpse of everything, and said everything seemed so depressing.

Mi
Misery, was what came when they took you away from me.
From the hands that touches black and white keys to hands that merely touch anything for the sake of fulfilling ones deed.
My soul bleeds, and tears started to fall.

Do Re Mi,
Do Remember Me.
Ah, the voice,
Came from within me;
It came from the artist that died inside me.

Shattered Wing

Frightened little one,
'N utterly beautiful caterpillar, she was.
Oh, courageously hunted,
Wicked wild flower, she spotted.

Dreaming whole-heartedly,
Beauty with a wing; t'was never granted.

For thy love of beauty was forever wished,
Such patience started to wither.
Poisoned flower thought contained magic,
Eaten with endeavour; life ended tragic.

Decipher the last thoughts,
Of the caterpillar that perished.
Alas! You'll hear her words,
My thoughts, perhaps.

Was

You were once mine
And I was once yours.
Together we promised
To open up our doors.

No secrecy was kept
Clean from floor to floor.
Yet who's within the closet?
Just another pet you adore.

No secrets are kept,
No love was pure as gold.

A Mon Autre Moitie

From the glimmering stars of the night,
To the silent hymns the wind utters and sighs;
I wondered, I wondered,
When will my heart ever flutter?

To dream of the one whom I wish to see;
Short curly hair and a smile that sets you at ease,
A voice as cold as the evening breeze,
Yet adorned, craved, a lullaby that calms the seas.

À mon autre moitié, I want you to be you
For I despise the unacceptance of one's flaws.
I will cherish every moment, every bit of you.
Worry not my dear, for I will truly love you.

For you I have forsaken thy wish to live free.
I now lock the cage for two, and two birds only.

Senseless

Obscurity, the variety.
Vibrant colors were undefined.
All faint, never audible;
T'was from yesterday's cry.

A dream within nightmares
The fresh poison from it's tree
Drawn from the roots of it all
It is I who wished to be free.

To speak of the unspoken;
A rule i'd love to abide.
The snake and the cat; t'was hidden,
Grew wilder and stronger inside.

To witness a never-ending vertigo
Where melancholy had glorified
Set me free, set me free!
Had I sinned in wrath of pride.

Oublier

A toast to our forgotten love.
You were once an angel
Heavenly sent from the above.

Another toast for thy promises.
For the words you couldn't keep
That bear the lies as you speak.

Oh, dear temptation,
Thy last whiskey
With such stinging sensation.

One last toast for the broken one.
Scarred with feelings
That can never be undone.
