Ying and Yang

Our love is two sided.
One side dark and cold.
Broken and rough.
Sad and tearful.
Full of negative energy.
The other, exciting and intense.
Naturally flowing and brilliant.
Deep and harmonious.
Magical and full of love.
When you put the sides together you get something balanced and beautiful.
You get us.

Untitled

The darkness retreats as the sun rises.
Tai chi on the jetty, moving with grace.
Waves crashing when the tide comes in.
The spray splashes upon my body.
Deep breaths in and deep breaths out.
Embracing the energy of peace.
Connecting with my emotions.
Healing and renewing.

Night Lights-Ap

Far above you, quartz jewels.
Beyond real.
Heavenly stars everywhere.
Xeroxed millions of times.
Zooming past. Creating glowing visions.
What divine inspiration.
Underneath karmic night lights.

To My Son

A mother's love is deep.
The more you grow the more I weep.
You act all grown.
But know you'll never be alone.
For you are my son.
And a mother's love is never done.

Untitled

Impossible lies and treachery spewed
Sold dreams of an unreachable reality
In the end deception was the game
It was my heart that was played

Star-Hawk

A beautiful bird soared in the sky
He soared high anove the clouds and sun
He flew lonely as all the days went by
He flew solo but always had some fun
He was scared that it was time to die
He did not know when his life would be done
He felt that it was almost time to lie
The weight on his shoulders gelt like a ton.

He had one last thing he wanted to see
And that was a beautiful golden dawn
He wondered if that could possibly be
One gray morning he saw a little fawn
With gray skies he thought his wish would not be
Before he died he saw thst golden dawn.

A Connection

A decade of love lost
Out the window it was tossed
Goodbyes were spoken
And my heart was broken
Thought of you everyday
And I tried to stay away
I convinced myself I hated you
The reality is that's not true
I'm so in love with you

The Door

It's over, it's done and the time has come. You said goodbye and closed the door on me on us. I stand here looking at the closed door. I can't believe this is happening. I knock and knock and keep knocking praying the door opens. My heart hurts, it's going to explode. The pain is unbearable, I'm frantically knocking now still no answer. Reality hits he'll never open the door. My heart breaks I'm officially broken. Suddenly I can't knock anymore I can't feel anymore I can't love anymore. Not only did he close the door on us but for me he closed the door on love

Divinity

When you left, I lost you and I lost me and I lost us.
Everything I loved gone in the blink of an eye.
I had no idea what to do. I was lost in the darkness.
I begged and pleaded, screamed and cried. But couldn't quite get a grip.
Then divine intervention saved me, right at the moment I needed saving.
I started to feel warmth and comfort again.
The light in the darkness began to shine bright.
Bright until the tears stopped rolling down my cheeks.
Brighter until I held my head up high and proud.
Brighter until my heart felt love again.
Brighter and brighter until I remembered who I was!

A Feeling

The way my heart skips a beat everytime you're near.
How I get goosebumps and butterflies.
Just the thought of you makes me smile.
You showed me something I've never felt before.....Real love.
