Agenda

We reject war
as useless
non-violence
is our weapon

We reject inequality
as dangerous
justice
is our dream

We reject illiteracy
as unfair
education
is our right

We reject walls
as vain
solidarity
is our goal.

A Strange Couple

Steve lived in a flat.
Lucy lived in a bush.
They met in a park
in the city that shines.
Lucy was woozy
with ruffled hair
and a smiley face.
They talked all day long
Lucy the tramp
And Steve the bourgeois.
Love was floating
over their hearts.
Love was calling
their hungry souls.

Covid-19

Silence.
Isolated from the world,
I look in wonder...
Lonely streets
tender grass
chatty birds...
Silence.
A tricky enemy
is crushing us
deep within.
Covid-19
is killing people
wildly.
Silence.
Death is coming on.
In the weeping sky
gloom and woe
are flying up.
Trees are whispering
a song of grief.
