Unsolved Mystery

A haunting question that still lingers in the air.
What happened to us, what tore us apart?
Was it you, was it me, or the cruel hand of fate?
The answers elude us,
like ghosts in the mist,
haunting our thoughts.

The reason why we couldn't make it last.
Perhaps it was both of us, our hearts out of sync.

It's a first of many I realized this Easter.
