Why is it that when day turns night,
All your memories are insight?

Ravneet Kaur Poem
How will a house turn into a mansion?
It will demolish and rebuild.
I am the same way,
Eaten by termites that said they loved me.
Demolished with hatred,
So I rebuild my self with self-love.

Ravneet Kaur Poem
“Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me”
Said the person who never fell in love.
Who never witnessed white lies said by him,
Who never witnessed the canvas of my heart
Painted with untruthful words said by him.
How can I say words don't hurt me
When they shatter my soul and heart into glass pieces
That glisten in the sun created by pain.

Ravneet Kaur Poem
My mother taught me,
To love unconditionally
Even when all you recieve back are infidelities.
