Purple Flowers Sprinkled In.

Silent Memories, warn of past times...
Floating expectations, reading between the lines...

Fading slowly away, losing the prints of your newborn past...
Purple flowers of ecstasy sprinkled in...
Disguise your wrath..

Mental magic tricks...
Producing schools of emotionally blind...

Am I following You? Or are You leading?..
First I see You barely up ahead..
Then I feel You close behind..

Purple flowers sprinkled in.

Time To Give In

Time to give in...

I've watched You as the years have passed...

So much has changed... Some things never last...

But there is a light that you'll one day know...
And suddenly Your'e no longer lost...... And You know where to go.

And You'll lift Your chin high, .... And stand on your feet.....

You'll let some things go... And others You'll keep.

And in the end We all will see....
.... We're all one in the same...

And to forgive makes us free.

And we've known for so long, ...
          .... And we've grown and we've changed....

We've climbed and fallen... Struggled and fought...
...... Found so many things..... And others we've lost.

Still, I won't deny existence of the past...
... Or that the obstacles sometimes get harder to conquer...
Become a dead weight on our backs...

But He's knocked on Your door....
.....Oh, You know he'll knock again....

It just gets worse and worse........
......... Till You finally give in....

What You Want To See

I guess not everyone can understand...

About where I've been, or the way I am..

I guess not everyone will ever really know...

I'll most likely hide me away,

never let the deepest parts of me show...

But sometimes if You look,j
just out of the corner of Your eye,
A part of me You've never saw,
or maybe just a sign...

Because in truth, there is so much more,
It just depends on what You're looking for...

He who looks is sure to find,
Sometimes it's unholy,
Sometimes it's divine,

Either way, it's always mine...

...And I will take responsibility for it.
