Martha Davis Poem
As I am raging out of my chrysalis,
I can feel my soul and wings calling.
The feeling of entrapment and anxiety drawing,
Like a loud monster screaming and falling.
My days of hardship and loves cries,
All of these dark days will not suffice.
I want to move in love's touch not of despair,
Only my Lord God can take me there.
My magnitude of Peace will gravitate in,
My wings will flourish once again.
A beauty so tranquil and fluorescent,
There's no way one's eyes could contest it.
It's my day of glory and peace,
My astonishing way of release.
Self-love, yes who would have guessed it,
My wonderful life, God has blessed it.
Self-love, everyone should protect it,
Sometime we forget when we are neglected.
There is only one who can project it,
Self, self-love, it's only you that must respect it!

Martha Davis Poem
I need a real true love
One who's mind is open with mine
The kind that won't leave you blind
A clear blue river type of love
A see threw, and true type of love
A love that stays, and holds you tight threw the bad
A love that doesn't get mad
Mad about your expression of how you feel
A love that helps one reveal
Reveal everything there is to see
Taking me to places I can't believe
A place for him and only me
A love that gives me the freedom
Freedom to grow, and still not let go
A love that's half turned whole
Whole with every existence known to man
A love that's pure and unplanned
The kind of love that's bigger than me
The kind of love everyone can see
I know this kind of love can be
I just want to feel it, and be in bliss
Yes blissful, that's what it would be
A real true love from him, and given just to me That's the true love I want to receive
