Broken

Torn inside, ripped apart
Once again, you've broken my heart
I gave you my trust, time and again
Then I take it back, it never ends
You say you've changed, what a lie
You always leave me, asking why
How am I so stupid, I always know
What's going to happen, how it'll go
You make your promises, swear you'll try
Then break my heart, with all of your lies
So here I am
Broken again
Tears pouring, from my eyes
I stand in front of you, as I cry
I love you still
I always will
But I've given up, this has to end
From now on, we're just friends
We can no longer, be together
Even still, I'll love you forever
Torn inside, ripped apart
But this time, I'm saving my heart

Let Go

I found something one day, it crossed my path
I picked it up, without looking back
I should have known, that I couldn't keep it
But I wanted to try, I wanted to believe it
And then of course, something got the better of me
And I realized, that it just couldn't be
So now I'm waking up, from my dream come true
I'm giving it away, I'm letting go of you
I'm sorry if I hurt you, and caused you pain
I'm sorry for everything, it's me to blame
One day you'll thank me, you know it's true
You'll be grateful for the day, that I let go of you

What's a Girl Do

What's a girl do, in a world of confusion
When she's blinded by lies, hurt, and illusion
What's a girl do, when her life is broken
When she's all tied up, in a whirl of emotion
What's a girl do, when she can't find the closure
When she's looking so hard, for it to be over
What's a girl do, trapped in a haze
When she can't get out, she can't escape
What's a girl do, when she's lost in resentment
When she's locked away, like secret confinement
What's a girl do, when the tears fall from her eyes
When she's obviously hurt, and no one cares why
What's a girl do, in a world of confusion
When she's blinded by lies, hurt, and illusion

Into the Wind

I stand in the darkness, looking at the stars
How could you do this, you broke my heart
The wind blows heavily, into my face
As the silence seeps in, and takes your place
I'm trying to find a way, to say goodbye
But it seems the only thing, I can do is cry
What we had was special, real and true
But none of that matters, if I don't have you
So I'll toss these memories, into the wind
And I'll stop thinking, about what should have been
I'll dry these tears, upon my face
And I'll let the loneliness, take your place
But don't think for a second, that I never loved you
Don't think for a second, that it wasn't true
I'll always be loving you, deep inside
I'll always be caring, that I won't hide
But the wind is blowing you, slowly away
And this pain will get easier, each new day

Falling For You

I'm glad things turned out, like they have
I'm falling for you, and there's no turning back
I find myself thinking about you, every day
I think I need you, in every way
I dream about you, every night
It seems perfect, just so right
I want to be held, in your arms
Safe from hurt, safe from harm
I'm glad things turned out, like they have
I'm falling for you, and there's no turning back
You make me laugh, you make me smile
You give me hope, after all the while
You're my reason, to believe there can be love
And miracles sent down, from up above
I wish you knew, what you do to me
You drive me crazy, yet set me free
I just want for this to work, I want to be together
Hopefully for a lifetime, hopefully forever
I'm glad things turned out, like they have
I'm falling for you, and there's no turning back

Wedding Vows

I stand here today, becoming your wife
This is the beginning, the start of our life
Together we'll laugh, together we'll cry
Together we'll live, together we'll die
From this moment, I give you my heart
I'll endlessly love you, til death do us part
Our hearts are one, Our souls are entwined
Our love is forever, our lives are combined
This is my oath, I pledge unto you
To love you forever, to be real and true
You my husband, and I your wife
Hand in hand, for the rest of our lives
I vow this day, until forever
We shall always, be together

Life

You feel empty, there's nothing inside

You don't understand, and you can't describe

Emotions are useless, when nothing is real

Senses are worthless, when you cannot feel

It's all pretend, everything is fake

Maybe it's better, for your own sake

You search for happiness, but it's just a lie

Love is only a word, a breath, a sigh

Your dreams are a movie, in the dead of the night

They disappear, in the morning's light

You question yourself, as life questions you

You try so hard, you want happiness too

One day you wake up, old and alone

What has happened, where did the time go

Life passed you up, as you watched from the side

You didn't get to live;

 And now you've died

The Sands of Time

These feelings you hold, can't be described
No longer can you let, your heart be deprived
You crave the kiss, you long for the touch
It's been a while, since you've felt so much
Just like a rush, an incredible high
Like the waves crash, on the sands of time
The width of the heart, the depth of the soul
You feel so complete, incredibly whole
Like fire melts ice, and time wears you down
It brings down the wall, that your heart built around
It's like awakening, from a solitaire dream
You can't explain, the way this seems
As the black crow cries, into the restless night
You can't help but feel, this is just so right
The extent could evolve, from something this great
You believe in the outcome, you can harldy wait
Just like a rush, an incredible high
Like the waves crash, on the sands of time

She Begged Him No

She begged and pleaded for him to let go
"You're hurting me," she said, and he said, "NO!"
She begged and pleaded for him to please quit
The more she cried, the more she got hit
She begged and pleaded, "Please don't do this to me,"
He unzipped his pants, and did it anyway
She begged and pleaded to "Please just stop"
He said, "I told you I'd show you I get what I want"
She cried no, but he did it any way
She cried no, but he didn't care
Safe at home
She sits alone
Begging and Pleading for this to be a dream
Begging and Pleading, "this is not what it seems"
She realizes it happened,
She sits, she cries
She blames herself,
Inside, she dies

Goodbye

I take a breath, and close my eyes
There's so many things, I never realized
All this time, I've been scared to let go
The pain I feel, you'll never know
The day you left, part of me left too
I'm dyeing inside, missing you
I think of you constantly, every single day
I miss you so much, in every way
But I've got to let go, I have to say goodbye
Because holding on to you, is killing me inside
I'll keep our memories, locked in my heart
That way, we'll never really part
So I take a breath, and I close my eyes
I love you daddy, but this is goodbye
