My Novel Back Cover

To the people looking at this book
I say go ahead, Open it, Take a look
It may be the very thing you sought
I believe you'll be captivated, Yea you'll be caught
The characters, The story, The plot
My style is one of a kind
For it comes from deep in my mind
Another like it you will not find
Winds you up, Sometimes unwind
A story of a boy to a man
Fighting a crazy life as best he can
Survival, Revenge that is the plan
A tail of fictitious facts of nonfiction
Can't put it down it's like an addiction
That would be the best depiction
To leave it behind, Your affliction
When your done, And the book is through
And your mind screams where is number two
I say thank you to the readers, Especially you
                   It's coming

Hellhound

When death comes around
Try not to be found
Hard to get away from a HELLHOUND
They stay mean and tightly wound
Can smell you even off the ground
Up and down, Even round and round
Won't stop till your in the mound
Their growl a demonic sound
Chewing up your flesh pound to pound
Flesh from bone no longer bound

He will come around
Knows where you can be found
Eyes of fire that HELLOUND
Your path will be unwound
They come from the ground
You won't make it another round
Can you imagine your mound
From there not a sound
Against the soil you can pound
It's over your bound!

The Real Treasure

At the top of the mountain, is a beautiful fountain
You can see beauty for miles, brings forth actual smiles
As far as the eye can see, many a mountain and tree
The water so clear and cold, turns the young from old
So the legend has been told, somewhere there is a city of gold
With so much treasure, impossible to measure
An unfindable find, with pursuit you could lose your mind
Or could it be found, rewards abound
The real treasure is inside you, that my friend is the first clue
You must look deep within, that's how you begin
Try to see how others see, move towards how you really want to be
It's not easy at all, but you have the ball
Go ahead wait till tomorrow, bet on sorrow
That's not a guarantee, but wait and see
Don't believe me, your thoughts are free
Just trying to lend a hand, nowhere near a demand
Well I guess I'm done, have fun

Yep That's Me

As I sit under this tree
Eating pills and drinking whiskey

These mosquitoes are draining my blood
Thinking bout covering myself with mud

Wondering how a fella could get right here
Well Hell been working on it. 53 year

I've ran through friends and so many women
Sooner or later they know they got a lemon

I'm hallucinating and homeless and luckily I have no car
Makes it easy not to give a
I have to keep leaving things behind to lighten my load
One of these days it will be me I leave behind

Scratching At My Soul

It had to be a dream
But so, so real
It did seem

And it did feel
Like everything in sight
Had it's own appeal

Oh how bright
Was the black
Of the night

Then the attack
From all around
Front and back

Unbelievable was the sound
Of pain's own cry
Even through the ground

Fight or fly
No! run and hide
Stay and die

Not hard to decide
It seems to be everywhere
Escape I tried

It didn't care
I could feel the cold, dead touch
Through my soul it did tear

The pain was much
More than anything
Unbearable or such

Fearing what it will bring
Resist, fight and pray
To the one and only King

I am not prey
Never have been
And not that day

Real Rubaiyat

Sorry for the fake
Just realized I made a mistake
Often, I don't admit
!st one I did make

Ok, That was a lie
Let's just let it fly
I won't tell, If you don't
Ain't gonna explain why

Varieties, I'll figure them out
Poems, I will shout
Depends on what day it is
Hard to reach some levels, No doubt

Words, I love to write
See them in my sight
Rules, Didn't know they're so many
Rules, Ok I'll be polite

Sorry for past confusion
I brought you to my delusion
Fun though, Huh?
Well that's the conclusion

I'M a Halfbreed

Yea I'm a halfbreed
Approval I don't need
I can plant a seed
From that I will feed
No need for greed
Need not plead
Might burn that weed
Chase it with mead
Seems like my deed
Follow? No! I'll lead
Don't impede
You will concede
 Read!

Enemy- In a Me

Sometimes I like myself more than I should
Other I wonder how I ever could
I believe I'm My worst enemy
Sabotaging myself so as not to be free
A variety of drugs, gallons of booze
On and on like I've nothing to lose
