Special Someone

it was love that i felt in his arms
tenderness and softness oh so warm

that special someone in my heart
took me to a brand new start

the wish i made upon a star
came quickly and wasn't very far

my feelings fought to stay alive
but that part of my life took a dive

couldn't think or sleep because of my sorrow 
i tried to get that piece of my heart back but just couldn't borrow

and my special someone took that piece of my heart from me 
but i was blinded and could not see

my special someone
