A thousand sighs whisper
Across the starry night.
An echo unreachable
Like a snowflake lost from sight.
Awakens a longing, that internal beat,
an ancient music tuned, to the
shimmering of the desert heat.
Turning ten thousand pages
Upon waveless shores,
weeping each moment of
time missed of the passing ages.

Let love not be a flower that blooms amid the lonely night,
Eyes that hath much beauty see beyond the shadow'd sight.
After all time is not and night is day
And we are one,
yet the starry veil still hides the way.
For silence fills the open spaces
That ticks the clock eons of time,
Seasons like a million faces
Fill the night sky each
a tune, a lament in birdsong.

The flawless beat of a warrior's heart
Unflinching in a passioned breast.
Unfamed by drudge and dreary toil,
marching onward in a deathless quest.
Forged by iron in flaming truth,
each beat carved by an untouchable sword.
Unknown is a hero's sacred stance
upon the fabric of time's eternal Word.

In the Divine expanse of a cosmic dream,
flickering in the night-time sky,
swaying to the music of unanswered spheres,
cradled by the light of a moonbeam's sigh.
Lit by the magic of the dazzling stars,
from a thousand light-years a-yonder;
woven in the fragrance of a blossoming rose,
unfolding its beauty and wonder.
