Miss Spanish Moss Maiden

Cascading ebony curls,
weave her lean oak body,
Gothic vines scatter mustard buds,
clothing her Sultan figure,
Fingers and appendages tangle in this mesh,
Droop against her sleekness,
Attemp to shun day`s life.
Underneath, bats perch dormant,
Spiders playfully weave,
Snakes await lunch,
Hypnotic Miss Spanish Moss Maiden.

Untamed Tongue

Poison flicks out,
among saccharine promises.

His sugarcoated tongue is tarnish proof.

He holds his tongue.
Where shall he place it?
Idle.
Let it rest.

Give permission to taste encouraging syrupy words.

"Love" is apple pie.
"Wonderful" drips of dark chocolate.
"Sorry "soaks of rich coffee savor.

Do not spew out:
"I hate you!"

Tame speech with righteousness.

Quiet tongues are blessed.

Mr. Gator

Olive glitter skin sparkles below Carolina rays,
Mud Leather carefully placed as evening attire,
Mr.Gator whips his jeweled tail frantically,
Beckoning his lover to immerge.
No response.
Heartbroken, he crawls silently towards another pond.
Mating season minus a mate is not much fun!

Survival Kit

The rusted latch cuts chewed finger tips.
Pryed open, needled jabbed emotions lay inside.
Grab the peanut butter crackered hugs,
Nurture the starved soul.
Chocolate kissed squares await to be devoured.
Sip bottled water enhanced with "I love you`s".
Replenish the survival kit for lifes next survivor.
Lock it tight .
Don`t lose the key.
You may be back with company.

Dear Satan

Dear Satan:
You do not frighten me.
You haunt my spirit at times,
But my glory for God suffocates your wrath.
Your temptations are mere reminders of my weaknesses.
With God`s humbleness He brings me to my knees
and strengthens my wounded soul.
Satan,
I welcome your evil as an avenue to prove my love for Jesus.
I challenge you!
I am a warrior of God.
I shall march over your so called angels who lure me.
You do not intimidate me.
I have God`s power burning within.

Boredom Or Bliss

Satin white lily pads
cushion the high jump
performed by the three-legged frog.

Heated blaze bakes his fading green coat.
He leaps into his hot tub paradise.

       Life is floating by.

A big grin and loud croak announce his pleasure.

What appears to be boredom for one set of eyes ,
is bliss for another.

May 4th

Frustration
Confusion

Violance
Death
May 4th is still alive.

Heh Gecko

Mr. Gecko,
You are not Geico
Mr. SoBe,your name is not Ghecki.
Mr. Wiesman, your heritage is not Gargoyle.
Lime illuminating, advertising
Chirping, adhering to the humidity covered pane.
Hemut Stump toed comrade,
Licking lidless membraned eyes,
Perfected coned vision.
Wafered padded setae,
Suctioning eight times his body,
straddling atop sleek blades of greenery.
Dwarf extinct.
New Zealand`s lost treasure.
Delcourts Gecko remains King of his reptiles.
Self copulation is an unfortunate reality,
when you are a handsome neon lizard.

Jurassic Beauty

Emerald mountains border shaved rock facades.

Pallid clouds speckle the electric blue sky,
Remininscent of a robins egg ready to hatch.

Mounds of cotton candy trail behind the sailboats engine.

Aroma is flavored with ginger and orchids.
Fragrance spreads the island like jam on warm toast.

Dolphins jump up waving.
Sea turtles putter, skimming the ocean top for tourists leftovers.

Waterfalls spill over golf course green barrier reefs

Poverty is tucked behind this garden of Jurassic beauty.
