Taylor Loperena Poem
There's a deep, dark place no one knows
For in this place only i can go.
Twists and turns are everywhere
I take every one without a care.
Hidden demons here lurk
Resembling old moments of hurt.
I stroll by unarmed
They can't do me any harm.
As i come closer i hear the faint beat
I move faster knowing this is where we'll meet.
A pulse is thick in the air
Getting to this point is usually rare.
My body throbs with the lust of fate
Hoping and praying I'm not to late.
I see you standing in the open door
I sigh knowing I'm with you forevermore.

Taylor Loperena Poem
I took a picture of us;
Just in case I forgot.
Our smiles are everlasting;
I'm sure that means a lot.
I found an old picture of us;
Boy, how could i forget.
Our smiles nearly faded;
My heart full of regret.
They found that old picture of us;
Long after we've been covered.
Our smiles long gone by now;
Just two unknown lovers.

Taylor Loperena Poem
As the sun kisses my skin
Memories flow like the breeze
Sweet love in the air
No worries come to mind.
The world seems fair
As it should have always been
All wrongs have been made right
No heartache to speak of.
Then my eyes open, a dream interrupted.

Taylor Loperena Poem
She has her gaze upon us
Showing us only what is in front of our eyes
Her gleaming smile shines
When the World's happiness is at rest.
He controls our day
Showing us everything in our path
His glowing essence
kisses our skin when our life is at best.
These lovers; love
with the weight of the world on their shoulders
for the never must see the other
Condemned to a life apart;
For their meeting will result in the end.

Taylor Loperena Poem
City of Lights;
Of pain and pleasure.
This mistress intoxicating
Leaving all her suitors wanting more
Those who need more will stay
These fools have no idea what she has in store.
City of Lights;
Of gain and treasure.
She will hand out trinkets
But be sure she will soon take it all
More than she gave, for she craves it
These fools will soon fall
City of Lights;
Of the slain and pressured.
So have you enough of this tainted siren
If you haven't, stay awhile
Meet the fate that you have chosen
For if you are nto dead; you will surely be in denial.
