Kelly Richardson Poem
Burst out the dark wood
tearing laughter through the sunned blued sky
cartwheeled I spin
breath sucks in between grinned teeth
I pause
slammed by beauty
green gives way to a burst of wild flowers
swaying giggling naked across a field
overwhelmed I cry run dive roll
into the kaleidoscope of perfume
inhale I drink
flowered I am brushed
blushed they rush about me
curl curve entwine between grasping clutching fingers
enveloped caressed in soft tickling petals
I hug them to my breast
I breath
believe
I press them wet dripping fragrant
to bruised giddy lips
I shove velvety crimson petals into my mouth
puckered violet explosions
scream ecstatic
I taste sweet words
sentences
psalms
paragraphed I am speechless
His beauty surrounds
caresses in whispered winds
engulfs
drowns me
in light
I open my mouth
butterflies dragonflies fireflies
flutter out free
I swim in the earth
fill my mouth with truth
I swallow
the garden

Kelly Richardson Poem
Crawling creeping beetles nibble
scatter dither wind and wither
whether chew my mind and sweetly eat
or wittle holes in words I blather blithered incomplete
three thirds are hurled and rained and voided
annoyed I stew swear screamed "Destroy it!"
flung high a roar voraciously clear
heard words tremble dismember retreat with fear
Empty echos reach for letters
devours silence
belches beaks and feathes

Kelly Richardson Poem
He sets me down in quiet beauty
and tells me to drink
to savour to absorb His grace
to feel His peace beating slowly in my veins
He asks me to rest to breath to know
He waters me with love
and I grow petals of serenity
I reach out, "Abba"
I reach up
His smile fills me
and I glow the gospel
from my face

Kelly Richardson Poem
God hands me simplicity
in a small drop of rain
"This is all that you need,"
He smiles as He explains,
"Just keep life simple
enjoy the small wonders,
a laugh from a child
the crack of the thunder.
Believe in the beauty
the wonder
the glory
don't complicate life
with frantic worry and hurry.
Slow down
breath in
taste each separate day.
Believe I am with you
Guiding your way.
You are here for a purpose,"
He winks and smiles broader,
"Lose all that baggage
that makes it much harder.
Those possessions are worthless,"
He laughs wih His eyes,
"You can't take it with you,"
He reaches around and unties...
and it all drops away
no more burdens, no more pain.
And He nods as He leaves me
with His small drop of rain.

Kelly Richardson Poem
To feel the sunlight
splash my face
with kisses dusted
on dandelion lace
the sun juiced laugh
of a child running free
tempts my soul to unwind
puckered lips smile at me
blown fluffed on a breeze
twisting twirled round the blue
breathes the sky greened grass
wonders why wonders who
and I reach for those stars
soft weeds flowering the air
and I close my eyes and listen
to his miracles everywhere

Kelly Richardson Poem
The silent bellow
that laughs in the wind
booms and beckons
and comes on in.
It fills your ears
your soul, your sight
it engulf you whole
brings you to a grand new height.
You stand and marvel
at the cacophony of sound
overwhelmed you weep
fall breathless to the ground.
The stars they sing
swinging twinkling from His eyes
angel wings quiver
rejoicing Hallelujah cries.
And He breathes one more note
and you raise your voice with His
you feel the light shine from you
radiating glorious bliss.
