Waiting

Every day, I sit at my window, waiting
I’ve stayed for you-
I will stay until you come home
And every time, you do
Every time, I jump into your arms
My joy, becomes so much, I begin to cry

And yet, even as I cry
You always thank me for waiting
You start inside, with me in your arms
Like I’d somehow leave you
No matter the job that you do
No matter how long, I’ll wait for you to come home

Please, never forget your home
Never forget Mommy and I cry
And I know, even you do
But know, we’ll always be waiting
We’ll always be there for you
Waiting to hold our precious soldiers in our arms

I hear him say, while in his arms
“Next time, Daddy will stay home”
I’ll always get to see you
I won't have to cry
No more waiting
What will we do?

“We’ll do everything you want to do”
Right now, all I want, is to stay in your arms
Even though, I’ll have to go back to waiting
Next time, when you come home
I promise not to cry
I’ll never have to say goodbye to you

…

...Where are you?
...What did I do?
I didn’t break my promise, I didn’t cry
I want to be held in your arms
Please, I want you home
Please, no more waiting

I want to be with you, in your arms
What do I have to do? Why didn’t you come home?
I don’t want to cry, please, I’m tired of waiting

Missing

I know I’m not missed in the present-
But I know I’ll be missed when I’m gone.

The Stars

The stars
Burning away
Revealing their stories
Until their lone life is snuffed out
Burnt out

Will-O-Wisps

The will-o-wisps
Will lead you away,
To a land of happiness.

Left On Read

“Did you make it okay?”
Left on Read
“Are you doing okay?”
Left on Read
“How is it over there?”
Left on Read
“It’s been a while but-”
Left on Read
“Remember when we-”

Violence

Violence
Mediaised, regretted
Unyielding, disregarding, uncaring
Cruelty spawning cruelty
Humanity

My Voice

Putting on an outsiders mask,
Someone tailored a casque
To hide me away
To keep me from straying

Too far.
I have to remain on their radar,
They uphold me to a bar,
They’ll look at me from afar,
Judging my every prayer
Because I am only theirs.

I am what they made.
My words
Are theirs to display.
I am but a blur.

My words sit on the tip of my tongue-
Begging to be spat out,
Born from my lungs
Only to die young.

I want to be noticed,
I want to be considered.
Yearning to be set free from the cage
That I constantly hold myself in.
And yet i only swallow the rage.
Afraid of my opinions,
Afraid of my life backstage,
Afraid of what my words will cause-
So I wrap my pain in gauze

I’m too young.
I’m too old.
I can’t have an opinion
In this territorial dominion-
But I can’t stop
My thoughts.
Overwhelming cold.

Why is what I say
Not okay?
Why can’t I speak what I want without
Worrying if I’ll see another day?

-

Inside a dark prison cell-
Walking on eggshells
The iron bars of teeth-
My thoughts remain in its sheath
Words sit on death row
Waiting for the revolution
That the reaper will mow :
The execution
Of socialization

Mkultra - Part One

The “Black Sorcerer,”
The “Dirty Trickster”
A man untouchable.
Doing everything regrettable.
Lacking the fundamental fear
Of every human being
Why are you here?
What is it, do you think you’re doing?
Sidney Gottlieb.

Poison expert
Drug lord
Who will you hurt?
On your never-ending chessboard.

LSD,
Ecstasy,
Psychology,
Scopolamine,
Morphine,
Brainwashing.

“What better weapon than the human brain?”
You’ll do it again, and again

“He will do our bidding against his will.”
All with a simple pill
Or maybe a needle
He’ll be our precious weasel

Mysterious deaths,
Assassination
Cover-ups.

“Where else could a red-blooded American boy
Lie
Kill
Cheat
Steal
Rape
And pillage
With the sanction
And blessing of the All-Highest.”

Limerence

Limerence :
Misleading feelings
Puppets forced together
So called “true love”
