The residual effect still lingers on
The night we met was oh so exciting
Electricity filled the air
From across the crowded room we stared at each other
Our eyes fixed in a romantic stare
Though the night is over I still feel the power
Your aura ever present still
The residual effect of you still lingers on
I can feel your essence overpower me
Your spirit, body and soul complete mine
Wherever have you been hiding my love?
Why did you make me wait until this day and time?
We’re on a fast track to love
Can’t slow this train down
Never kiss nor made love
But the residual effects of you still lingers on
The awesomeness of you my king
Will live on inside me forever

He ascends the stairs
I go down the stairs
Our eyes never meet, we never glance into each others
We speak, exchange pleasantries
We understand the complexities of the world
In which we live
We must take it slow
Anything worth having is worth waiting for
Enjoying the conception of
Enjoying the creation of the beginning
Of our love
The seduction of
V & J
Our way is not clear
But destiny is in control
