Vengefulness Poems

Staying Strong and Looking Ahead

Staying strong and looking ahead
is to greet tomorrow and refusing to look behind;
all can rise from the ashes of the painful past...
putting all hurtful memories and sad events to rest!

Being heartbroken and remembering mistakes,
welcome grief and keep dreams from flourishing;
I feel sorry for the ones who still grieve losing
all strength to defeat something that terribly hurts!

Look up, never look down and concentrate on reality,
who seeks glory knocks down all adversity;
be a diligent David defeating a Goliath filled with vengefulness;
even the strong are powerless when attacked with shrewdness!

Many lose sleep over worries and declare desperation
watching others achieve greatness: is it envy or revenge?
If they tried harder, they would no longer grieve but emerge
from the squalor that brought their final destruction!

Staying strong and looking ahead
is to forget failures and setbacks,
it adds another milestone to your achievements;
many new stars will appear on your horizon,
and counting them, you'll understand what you were told:
move forward without any regret to have missed a dozen
opportunities that fled quicker than butterflies!

What Some Pharisees Overhead

All that we had encountered
Of God, Fear kowtowed to.
Yet this, for sinner's relief
This, piteous, soaked through
Are we, here and now, told is
That face,the very same
Behind all that skied displeasure;
A vengefulness to name!

The planet isn't dying, but it is responding to all of us.
We are all for the most part plundering this planet in the name of profits.
Soon temperatures will rise during the day to 120 degrees plus,
and then plummet below freezing shortly after dusk.
Sea Levels are rising worldwide and once arable land is now dust.
Our planet isn't dying, it is fighting back with great vengefulness,
but that won't be the reason for the assured extinction of all of us.
Everyone is too preoccupied with providing and surviving,
in this obsolete competitive profit driven monetary system,
which we blindly follow and accept without any question,
generation after generation, after generation, after generation,
which is counter productive for everyone struggling to make a living.
Most don't have the energy, thus no desire for any self educating.
That sadly will be the reason directly responsible for our definite extinction.
Our grandchildren of the future will look back upon us in disgust wondering,
"Didn't you see it coming? How Could You Just DO NOTHING!?"

The Dreamer

The Dreamer

If I dream a dream tonight
too withered with shades of light.
Worried I will die from fright,
but too weary to see the sun
to sleep I go till dawn has won.

As I dream this dream tonight
transforming bones to shape the bite.
howling at moonlight rays from afar,
to but a dream I sleep unharmed.

To slumber and shake I rage.
as I paint this fiend of knight.
lacking strength and will to fight
the only dreaming I hope tonight.

As I fall through sands that quakes
holes of madness take my place.
for no more horror in my delight
as this dream ends or soon
yields my sight.

As lightning strikes eyes of glass
vengefulness at bitter last.
monster, demons all the gore
conquering the fear is yet a war.

Until the sadness of rain I was dry
not cool, not warm like nothing inside.
now broken only to find
new love, built by my side.

To a spewer of moment, I lie awake
true or false unaware what to make.
I stand from window cold touch to the floor
with the bitter taste of morning sores
left me to wonder if…
was it a dream or was it more.
