A stormy but secure view.
That undismayed by it!
Outlines faith in a shepherd
Through a meek-guided herd.
Ever present world-surrounds!
As troublous which uprear.
With staff in hand, Lord, myself
There midst, unabashed seen.
Lamb, littlest! On whose peace lean.
Sheepcote and safety near.
Why be fretful o'er it
With greater bulging fear?
Past its many causes to be!
Down whose threat did uprear.
Often you're looked into
Twilight's shadow of this.
With it grave-lain, can you recall
Day's soul, the sun as deep?
Tomorrow's dreamer; never asleep
