The cadence of the ocean's waves
Invoke a rhythm that my heart saves
Incredibly within brain's caves
Ideas for some rhythm's works
Are ahead for my muse's perks
Capture the total rhythm's soft flow
Anchor inward, don't let it go
Even in moonlight's sustained glow
Ocean's cadence dances around
Hold on, don't make one soft sound
The cadence of life now waning
As ocean in low tide draining
Our love on earth was sustaining
Without you, it is now dearth
With you as wife, I found worth
Our whole life seemed to have meaning
Connected to God, we were leaning
Surrounded by His love gleaning
His love gave us love to share
With love hard times we could bear
God prepared you for your life's work
He helped me learn and grow with perk
Fulfilling all duties, not shirk
In our lives, we learned and grew
'Pon God's love we daily drew
The cadence of our lives on earth
Has ended without any mirth
In heaven, your love is waxing
With agape love untaxing
