Dead

Dead:

her smile annihilates me;
..this is not the girl..

instead,
the whites of her eyes glint..

the blindness of love:

She loves me,
She loves me not!

Dandelions.

????????????????

Foolishness, this test of love..

I know nothing of your heart,
I know nothing of:

Beauty..

Not... when it cuts,
a scion of truth and foolishness,
the blue-blood

of the unstricken vein;

Do you even bleed?

I need a whisper..

the quiet trickle,

of selfless-giving..

that which whistles;
breathes!

(as the wind, through thistle)

The bristle of wheat,

your lips the harvest..

of the dead, my dearest.
Kill me with your smile,

for I am already:

Dead
