for him who’d been her rain and breeze.

As though she were a moon in sky of nights unstarred;
as though a silent, untouched plain was Heloise
when parted from the one who'd been her rain and breeze.
She lived her life, but lived without her Abelard.
(To anyone interested, this is one of the greatest love stories in history!
