Nostalgia: Butterfly Wings

Butterfly wings have left me and gone ... gone.
Uphill I flew wearing, beautiful wings;
Through the thicket, and green pastoral lawn, 
Through the rice fields, I flew, tuning soul's strings.

Every grass and leaf felt strings of my soul,
Rhythm of my gentle soul, touches and sighs, 
For we lived in harmony with one goal:
Living unto our last breath as allies.  

Yet, we lost our bond for I had to leave, 
We had to say “Bye!” to each, and I left,    
Isolating my friends and here, I grieve, 
Night and day, alone, for this dreadful theft.

Good friends in nature as children we find, 
So sorry, with growth, we leave all behind.

Good Health

G-ood health of the humankind
A-voids the lethal link; 
I-solating the ferocious flu, 
U-ntil the dirt and grime
S-ink.

V-irus spares the man of good health, 
A-ttacking the vulnerablebody; 
L-eaving him grasping for breath, 
E-mploying the menace's mystery.
R-emaining in good health
I-s important for survival; 
U-sing the proper hygiene
S-urely keeps one from hospital.

C-leanliness and good health
A-re a pandemic protocol; 
T-he horrendous hazard is placed
U-nder the combatant's control.
L-ifestyle in new normal
L-argely ends the sporadic stealth; 
U-nknown killer in silence
S-urrenders to good health.
