Loathing's' Yoke

Loathing Yokes

Hatred thrives.
Love dies
The heart cries.

Foo-Foo Fun

Bite a funny
Fill your tummy

Find word fun
Try a pun

Shed your yokes
Grab some jokes

Free bee honey
Tastes so yummy

You do foo-foo
Tell a loo loo

THE EGG SAID

The egg said
To the pancake
I’m healthier than
You are, my colors are
Bright and beautiful
Sometimes I even have
Double yokes inside and
My best friend is crispy bacon

There Is Freedom In Uncertainties

Quenched beyond compare,
Bathed in endless springs of peace,
Reason has no business here,
Stripped of certainties,
Soaked in wisdom, cleansed in truth
While immersed in love, yokes flee.

Drama

Stroke silly pokes
Such heavy yokes

Noise by vain choice
Hurls hurting choice

Meet odd mismatch
In vulgar sketch

In broken fest
Drama works best

Not much to say
Where moments slay

For Children of War and Other Deceptions

For Children of War and Other Deceptions

The load of time
weigh heavy
on the yokes of life;
the unshelled shelled.
Gone.
Innocence of children
preyed upon;
life failed to root itself.

Janus face war genuflects
craving forgiveness;
praising its necessity.

Chapel of Flowers

our trees have blossomed,
and some have knots in their yokes,
like one in my throat.....

fragile limbs look down and weep
to acknowledge my despair

Blush

Whiskey whispers
Liquor laden squeeze
Alcohol breath sneeze
Rancid whispers

Strong liquor strokes
Massive surge endears
High hurling high here
Stupor now yokes

Rush upon rush
Strokes of strange gladness
Runaway madness
Blush after blush

Motive

Nurture nice niche
Observe the way
Thrill touching teach
Instruct fond say
Choice charms charade
Eye each ember
Meet movements made
Yield yokes yonder
Move mystic mime
One odd obsess
Toss trouble times
Imprint impress
Vibrant verse vests
Etch each excess

Laughter

Old map
Odd sap

Laughs poke
Touch yokes

Sweet ease
Loud peace

Joy jokes
Swirl strokes

All this
Fits bliss

Just know
Fine glow

Touch seeds
Fond feed

Brisk rhyme
Floods time

Word well
Crisp tell

Soft touch
Thrills much

Dorothy On Her Deathbed

The artist in me myself instinctively tracing
work a share miseries to inspiration making

Shrouded within my cocoon of slashing brush strokes
lost lovely my Dorothy gently softly releases her yokes

Watching graduations of deaths cold colours on her lovely face
ship me lost anchor my heart lost love no longer in her embrace

Coffee Cuppa

Dawn comes around
Drowsy eyes ground

Blurry new strain
Espresso gain

Stride now sleepy
Gaze now blurry

Misty cold rain
Monsoon spreads plain

Slow movement yokes
Dreamy form strokes

Abrupt this light
Dash drowsy sight

Now brew gotcha
Coffee cuppa

Fables

What are our millennium fables?
Women keep giving each other labels,
No harmony for our ecology,
An alliance should be our synergy,
No accountability for the economy,
No wise leaders to steer us to unity,
Century's getting older, folks!
Any teamwork to cast off these yokes?
Symbiosis should aim at harmony,
Let's pray for millennium synergy!

Light

Seek proof?
Know truth

Glimpse wit?
Love fits

Know how?
Live now

Why draft?
Claim craft

Odd vice?
Old spice

Who feels?
Love wills

Noise pokes?
Joy yokes

Glimpse sight?
Hope lights

Dream dance?
Prize chance

Word sweet?
Charm meets

Play when?
Just then

Birth Day

Birth day is that moment of dawn when
Individual jets into the earth from unknown horizons
Resisting and crying all the way
To begin a long struggle with decay
However difficult the mission may be

Donkeys flap their long ears to welcome another laborer
And lions of men train armies to ensure safety
Yokes they make- to put into bondage possibly another rebel

Outdoor Markets

eye-GASMS are artful things of flesh left out by the woods /
she went were-wolves once ate meringue pie before acquiring
a human fedora and impressed all the women at the outdoor
market where butchers smoke meat and flay cigars with white
whiskered smiles. Where were the yokes when sadness crept
over the clouds and a comedian choked on a badly baked joke?

Diaspora

No refuge here
Just bitter cheer

Search now in vain
Kind words said plain

Cliques and cliches
Odd word croquet

Islands of stress
A savvy mess

Not much for laughs
Broken mad stuff

Loss that now pokes
Sad burden yokes

Once a big tribe
Scattered once ripe

Not much to say
A wind-blown way

Happy Joy

Look to cheer
To blind fear
With joy here

Dress to be
What you see
Wild yet free

Cheer speaks well
As laughs tell
How hope dwells

Poise funds style
As warm smiles
Flood each while

Look to zest
To move quest
In fine fest

Seize this day
To fund play
On your way

Happy pokes
As joy yokes
Such brisk strokes

Overburdened Duty Calls....

Duty bound,intensified labor
overburdened yokes endured
as must,to not fall out of favor
our light becometh rest,assured

Strength of spirit,brightly glows
troubled times our feet will show
but,in the end,you have to know
new beginning for your flow

The mighty tested,evil bested
honor bestowed amongst the trusted
staying true to self,self wealth
loving gold is true natures health.....

Poet

Curious craze
Murky maze

Sanguine strange
Crafty change

Misty moods
Fetching food

Dreamy dance
Cheeky chance

Wonder writes
Bubbly bites

Yonder yokes
Pressing pokes

Wordy will
Fashions feel

Charming choice
Pretty poise

Touching tell
Delight dwells

Story sad
Mulling mad

Grapple gist
Moving mist

D'vine Comedy

Vines it were stole Adam’s joys;
thorns and thistles figured large.
Now, machines and even toys
fail to start, won’t hold a charge.

Oft harangued by so much ache,
pleasure’s fleeting, progress stalls.
Scarce we fix, another breaks;
endless toil stems from the fall.

Come thou, Father, make all right;
help us in this life we plea.
Burdens easy, yokes are light
when we find our rest in Thee.

Goose Spelling a Definition

Geese are
Not gifted
Spellers.

They write
Poems
In their eggs.

The letters
Cannot
Be separated
From their yokes.

In the court
Of the Blue King
Atrocious spelling
Is called “Goose-spelling.”

Turn of phrases
That cannot
Be separated
From its image.

Conversely Wicked spelling
Is known as Dragon-spelling.
Where quatrains
May spontaneously combust
Burning the finger
Of luckless scribes.

You Will Never Fail Me

Saturate me in your love,
Like a flood,
Invade my barriers,
Induce, and then prevail,
With a flag of all nations,
Firm in your hands,
Bring back humility,
Reverence with admiration,
It’s just a matter of time,
Time,
Time,
Precious time,
Destroy the yokes,
Subdue the tyranny,
Bring the healing rain which washes galaxies,
Soften lifes foul smell with the aroma of your pure love,
Reveal to the now, your sweet sovereignty.
