Quickie You
You are quick
And so spunky
You are witty
You are a goof-off (everyday)
You are silly and crazy
You are whiny and wary
You are childlike and canny
You are a show-off (in a good way)
You are pretty
And quite tidy
You are slick!...

Another Day
In the heat of the day,
Wiping her brow
As three whiny children
Grab at her shorts,
A slim, young mother
Passes the church,
Tired and edgy
From sticky fingers,
Unaware that within
A funeral is occurring
For another young woman
With three little ones
Who will never again show impatience
With whining and dirty, sticky fingers....

My Love Just Is
my love is chocolate
my love is brussel sprouts
my love is a big ole kid
my love is just another bid

my love is vanilla
my love is broccoli
my love is a whiny baby
my love is if, and, but, and maybe

my love is cookies and cream
my love is eggplant
my love is an embryo waiting to be born
my love is anticipation right before sunrise in the early morn...

Premium Member It's Not the Size of the Needle
There once was a phlebotomist, Rick

Taking care with the people he'd stick

Always used needles, tiny

So his patients, ne'er whiny

Loved him most for his soft little prick.

Premium Member Winter
His arrogance chills the room
muffling conversation
strutting
as he looks to see
who's looking.
His whiny tone
an endless wind
as his white tux
carpets the floor
in soulless silence.
His joy
an endless howl
of pressured wind
escaping
in a stinging sleet
of painful barbs.
His fear
the gentle warmth
of rising spirits.

No Fool
The sea is beautiful and I love it
and every single at the beach moment

Seagull chatters
Wind no matters

The body turning yummy brownie
My nature has stopped being whiny

I love it!
I love it! I love it!

And the best situation is my dear one
when there shines the shiny beautiful--

Diamond which to have is really such fun
On my right hand and not from a fool

Premium Member Struggling Care Giver
She thought she was struggling
Until she met one who was
Gave her food and drink, paid her rent
Felt good about it the first few months
By month seven, felt resentful
Because the woman did nothing for herself
The woman was needy, whiny, annoyingly down
She could not listen to any more of the drama
Stopped lending a hand, stopped caring
Ran to church to pray for herself
God knew she was struggling...

Premium Member You Cannot One Up Flo
Flo’s relatives are the worst
If yours have stolen your cars
hers have stolen her house, garage and garden shed.

If you are whiny, hers are chronic complainers
who are more annoying than finding a live mouse in your soup.

If yours are hurtful, hers have killed people with machetes.
None of us have ever been able to top or one-up Flo’s stories.

You should see us scatter when she appears in the lunchroom....

Premium Member Hermit
I want to be a hermit,
Live a life without permits;
No whiny pompous fools,
No busybodies spouting rules,
No evening nightly news
Telling me the proper views
By which I should live.

I long to be a hermit,
I don't need anyone to confirm it.
A life alone need not be solitary
With faeries in the boxberry
And forest friends to visit,
While Pixies in white-flowered privets
Entertain me with mischievous fun....

Suburban Teen Whiny Woe
Somewhere something has my eyes
now everything is gray,hard,decayed
Those portraits of mystics and fantasy have been stabbed through and painted black

My sense of wonder...flaccid
My will....abused, embarrassed

Dark
Dank
Blank
Despair

A post 90s cliche

I could sleep a thousand sleeps and never wake to regret yesterday or tomorrow lost

I am the frost on your bleak winter window

Premium Member Donald J Trump
Donald J. Trump Also known as a whiny, petulant grump Should be indicted for crimes he’s committed It’s hardly likely he could be acquitted. Donald J. Trump I suppose he’ll soon be hitting the stump Anything to seize the headlines, And avoid paying some hefty fines. Donald J. Trump Now much too large in the rump Not fit to be president of the U.S.A. I believe a vast majority feel that way!

Christmas Greetings
No manger scene at city hall
or caroling at school,
no city workers stringing lights,
come on, you know the rule.

No pageants of the savior’s birth,
we wish not to offend.
No prayers of thanks made publicly,
these laws we mustn’t bend.

No decorated Christmas tree
with ornaments all shiny
to be displayed on public land
or the ACLU gets whiny.

But Merry Christmas anyway
with joy to last the season,
just be careful what you say
and now you know the reason....

Echo In the Hollow
Cypress haven
Out echoes of the hollow
Creatures of the night
Hoot of Great Horned Owl

Cheeps and chirps shadowed
Seem to follow
Maybe, saw grass yips
Puppies upon the prowl

Sunken moss covered fallen
Echoes reaching further out of hollow
Black cubs fuzzy
First words loud into growl

Or whiny songs
Crying baby swallow
Bullfrog warts
Balloon chin bellows

Maestro amidst the moonlight
Conducting within the wallow
Woodland tenant choirs
As Mother Nature echoes through the hollow...
