going through the gats of irony
that aren't even gates at all
no barriers to block me
no body to foresake me
no tears or cries to slow me down
no landscapes to pause me
no transportation to push me
only the dull tread of my feet
to guide me along
on seemingly long paths
in time that never stands still.

Lead Me I'Ll Follow

lead me i’ll follow
though the path is
long and narrow
follow me i’ll
lead you down
a pathway
full of skylight to
see a beautiful
sunrise or sunset
moonlight to see
stars sparkle in
the blackest of night
so lead me i’ll follow
or follow me i’ll
i’ll lead you
either way it’s
a journey you’ll
just want to take

A Single Path

Paths branch out
From the main road
Sitting, stalling
Then choosing

All the roads I've traveled
Lead me back
Guide me to
A single path

So I walk
Step by step
Footprints the only things
That follow

No idea
What lays ahead
Only knowing
What lays behind

No fear
All anger left
At the crossroads
Sitting beside my regrets

Walking this path
A single path
My path of pebbles and sand
Feels to right to be wrong
