Another One Left Alone
Roses are red
deserted children are blue
one child is all it would take
to traumatize you....

Man In Tears-
Sadden traumatize man
Embraced in his fears
His tears he is distress
He is a mess
Thrown in the chairs
Flow down tears
As dry eyes abrasioned
In his fears his heartbeat
whispers woe is me...

Bags
In travel, you may check your bags
But sometimes it is wise
To choose a carry-on instead
When taking to the skies.
I much prefer to keep my bags
So there is no surprise
When I deplane, for missing luggage
Tends to traumatize.
Of course, I always have with me
Some bags I do despise,
Which some of you have guessed, I’m sure –
The bags beneath my eyes!...

Monster
Put it against it's head
make it bleed crimson red
have it regret every day
that it continued to make it rain
it's despicable
it's spineless, barely able
to stand and breathe in this world,
why let it harm another girl?
Do it before you realize
it may traumatize
you once again,
it brings pain,
make it flee...
I just hope you don't realize that it's me...

I do not know?
Meeting Sarah
Sarah had wounded animal eyes whether she had been
an owl, a deer, or a dog is unknown.
However, I know that she must be treated as softly
and quietly as possible.
A loud noise
A fragrance
A light touch
Might re-traumatize her
Approach her as a tiny violet which has been broken,
stepped on and smeared in mud.
I advise her teacher to approach slowly and cautiously.
And above all, no sudden movements or touches....

The Job of the Dreamcatcher
Dreams revisited;
Repeating themselves, revelations,
Eventually, may come true, on occasions.
All of those who sleep, so deep;
Madness, upon them, may creep.
Casting dream terrors
And creating fears that forever
Traumatize the dreaming soul.
Caught in its wizened web, are nightmares.
The Dreamcatchers, powerful spell;
Ensures that the little ones, come to no harm;
Remain safe in Dreamcatcher charms.

Uncertainty
Level headed is not me,
If kilter
Out of whack,
But killin' it.
Woe, mania is me.
What form of insanity is the?
Who knows which me is me.
Uncertainty,
Out of touch with reality,
Master of ignoring my responsibilities,
Release me,
From your grip
Before you bring me to me to my knees.
Flash backs hit me like a grenade,
Trauma explosion to the face,
Trigger city,
Trigger me.
Traumatize me by touching my soul,
So I know it's time to say goodbye....

Bamboozling Our Children
We decided on hand signals.
They got sillier each day.
Pretending to speak to each other.
Stroking our imaginary beards.
Sometimes we cawed or tweeted.
It drove our children bananas.
We did this in self-defense.
It frustrated them, causing them to leave.
It was the only way we could talk.
Have adult conversation
Without being interrupted
by our children.
Sure, they pout a bit,
but within ten minutes most of them are back.
So, it doesn’t permanently traumatize them....
