Dreaming of You
I wish
I could dream of
You...
My thoughts a-strew, in the magical
Loom of the moon...
A nightly gift i wish
Of dreaming of you....

Dusk's Gilded Seams
Darker seams regally gleam
Sea's turquoise waves glow
Tanned bodies in shadows bask
Neon boards surf strew
Mercurial strobe
Sky's coppertone beams hover
Moon's palling pale globe

Finest Rain
Fine Drizzle
The rain falls gently, almost like silk
and in the hair of women a thousand pearls.
Outdoor plants are bursting with pride
their beauty silences the unhappy.
Plants on the window sill are envious
But a woman fair strew smiles upon them
and magical and beautiful....

Short Verses
Short verses.

Hurriedness is a sin
Against art and nature
Slow down time.

The valley awakes
Brush strokes of crimson
Rabbits in the field.

Beautiful May
Your rare flowers didn’t last long
Soon it will be June.

A field of oats
Wild and strew around
Mine? Surely not....

Book Dream
I open book,
And am in world of dreams;
Eye lid shuts,
And am in journey to illusion world;
I fly, I swim and I strew,
In depth of sleep;
The book as lullaby,
Makes me go in deep dream;
For some,
Books for seeking wisdom;
But for some like me,
It's bed of dreaming world;

I tease the fragrant petals off deep red roses fresh in bloom

And strew them with gentle care on virgin matrimonial sheets

Where I shall lay with loving hands my blushing bride tonight.

To Strew Words In a Garden Bed
I'd like to gather my poems
and scatter them
like dewdrops
across acres of land
where they may fasten themselves
to the cool, gray soil
or get tangled
in natures bend

For those
who grab ahold
with thick roots
and impregnable purpose

I'd like to paint them
a golden sun
so they may sprout
into something more fragrant
than just a posy of words...

Destitute Roses
For you,
Roses are honoring gesture;
Enjoy commemoration of past;
But don't realize,
You secede me from my family twig;
The pain I endure when you pluck;
We are pair of roses,
Weep watching own death,
Waning beauty,
Disappearing odour;
We are affeluant,
Strew odour and beauty,
Make ambiance pleasant,
When we are intact in parent plant;

Premium Member Happy Valentine's Day
I've had no lover's valentine
For far too many years,
But I still have some sweet love notes
Among my souvenirs.

If my loved one were here it would be
Valentines every day.
To show my love for him, I'd strew
Hearts all along the way.

Don't weep for me, I've had my share.
This is your time, enjoy.
May your love's words be just as true
As those of my lost boy....

Poetry Writing
Poetry writing

There are times when I read some poems,
nice words knitted together to be harmonious
and makes life into a Hollywood romance,
we cry sentimental tears over the trivial.
My almond tree looks like an oversized spider’s web,
it pains me to look at the tree,
but I also know, say, a month from now
It will strew pink petals on my way be verdant,
a princess in the domesticated landscape....

Eyebrows
I sense some roughness, grey hairs strew
jagged eyebrows, jagged view
Lord, let me sense the pure of you
and all forsaken, is brand new!

A line now centered, frown's adieu
a grimace bent ~ toothless review
unholy glaring at construe
what made this fetished look of stew!

Some troubles notice, worries mew
a smile could hasten face's renew!
Oh, heart please chasten, comfort true
this look replace, with hope's redo!...

Reality
I turned my back
trying not to face reality
and the images of you walking away,
so I told myself not to look back,
look at you,
and the life you left strew across the floor.
From angry words
like the sharp shards of glass
across the floor
piercing into my skin
as I sit here turned away.
Black tears run rivulets down my cheeks
black and cold
like the night that swallowed you
whole
as you walked away....

Gusset of Rose
Gusset of rose I am,
Tender the body of mine;
Petals yet to rise,
'Touch me not';
I am yet to bloom;
Odor of juvenility,
Yet to snoop out of me;
Smell of mine,
Yet to strew in ambiance,
For you to love;

Busboy Forest
Under paper napkin clouds, silver bridges connect the great red mesa.
Bubbling soda rivers run silently behind the spiced Marinara bathed angel hair.
 Discarded pipeline strew the banks where black Manzanilla olives Drip from finely
chopped rigatoni hills.Clumps of ice like galciers divide forest of pasta and
breadsticks.Broccoli trees spring from towers of bowls and saucers where bean
sprout and spaghetti vines climb....

March Stew
Mornings are littered
with gnawed husks,
charred mouse-tails.

March is burning its strew.
The limbless
braid a thawing earth
into knotty threads.

On wet lines flannel shirts
poach in a warming smaze.
while gust-hogs
still attack the hedgerows.

In coddled kitchens
muggy boiled cabbages
envelope
a pottage of sky.

Stubby snuffles
herald undertows
of new marrow.

April paddles in
with wet crumbs
and buttercups....

Nature's Dance

Blue robin in garden sings a soothing song,
  dew drops dance in rings blushing all along,
    skew golden rays of strings covering a furlong,
      new dawn of rebirth brings summer here daylong.
        Few butterflies sprout wings to fly lifelong,
          strew colors on rushing springs where they belong;
            queue of red ants clings to branches too strong,
              view to a world of little kings all dressed wrong.
