Mandruka was always a spluttering
Wife was always talking and muttering
Then came Frank who was always fluttering
Golly, Molly was always stuttering
Mandruka’s wife yelled stop that blundering.

Bang, bang, bang, black minds open,
Black eyes seeing black blood spluttering on the black board,
Black tears from black eyes,
Black man in black out,
Black people eating black berries,
Black for black market, black magic, black eyes, black etc,
Black is everything bad,
Black is abused everywhere,
Black people now the black sheep,
And yet I am the black poet,
Reciting black poetry.
Listening intently,
My ears draw towards the softest of music
Glistening instantly,
My fears die away… and I find it so therapeutic
I gratefully write this poem
Since I haven’t wrote one in so long…I can’t stand the wait
I spiritedly dance in flawless rhythm
Since I haven’t used my energy in so long…I don’t feel all that great
Flittering ecstatically,
My wings began to elevate in a most treasurable way
Spluttering playfully,
My tears dry away… and my laughter makes the tune dwindle away
THE HAND THAT HOLDS THE PEN
COMMANDS THE REVOLUTION
AMIDST LOUD ROARS FROM THE DEN
IT WRITES WITHOUT DICTION
IT'S BLOOD SPILT ON GMELINA SHEETS
MY POWER AND KNOWLEDGE,MY THOUGHT AND MIGHT
SPLUTTERING OUT OF INTELLECTUAL WEALTH
WHATEVER IT WRITES I PRESUME IS RIGHT
VOICE OF THE VOICELESS
WRITE ME A SONG
HARMFUL AND HARMLESS
SPEAKER OF EVERY TONGUE
LITTLE DROPS OF GARRULOUS INK
SERVICES RENDERED TO THE JUST AND THE DELIQUENT
WORDS CONNECTED TO MAKE YOU THINK
LITERAL MEMORY OF EVERY INCIDENT
