spills over East,
mixes with and washes away
night dark and moon yellow.
Golden quiet transmutes
to silver sound, and tousled sleep
awakes to fresh-combed day....

A splotch of white on my front deck,
Its whiteness quite exquisite,
Has let me know that recently,
A bird's dropped by to visit.

I don't know if he planned to stay
Or was just passing through,
But what he left behind announced,
"Here's something just for you!"

A calling card from feathered friend,
Though lacking couth or class,
Deserves a nod of admiration,
For it's sure got sass!...

So dainty how she held the tea cup,
sipping showing off manicured nails;
I walk in and fall with a thump; 

Hot spots splotch a face that pales,
yet never do they hear me scream;
I secure the win as ‘Graceful’ fails; 

So unrefined is how it may seem 
meeting the floor with my face;
Channeling poise I quickly redeem; 

Transformed by soft metamorphosis,
a still lady below the surface....

The ink blot can BLINK 
Hurrah! TODAY I think

Now a SPLOTCH is in the sink
With water I did not drink

If I spot this BLOTCH I'll scream
Bringing a crowd to this scene

Calming them all with CREAM
BUT this shock may never be 
If I can wash it away with 
Aqueous fluid indeed it will

Spill into the drain and glide
Onto infinite PARALLEL PLAINS

THE BLOTCH of SPLOTCH never 
To be seen AGAIN.  HURRAH!...

Mercy sent from heavens high,                                                               
Sustaining life in fair supply
more precious than the human eye.
Parallel patterns fall
pouring down to shower all
There’s nothing like natures call-
here and now or felt before.
Through the rain a storm has spun
evolving from the start of one
splotch of inspiration done
as we draw toward our sun....
