Premium Member Where Do We Put Skat-A-Lory

I was trying to rhyme the fun word category

When a head and a hat became a hat-a-story.

Suddenly a gentle lad was a grat-a-Cory.

And falling on his nose made a good flat-a-nory.

So is skat-a-lory in another category?

Premium Member Big Jungle Skat - Tribute Limerick

There's a ravenous rhymer named SKAT
who prowls prose like a big jungle cat
Check your door cuz she might
(if she likes what you write)
leave a word for you on the front mat

This limerick is for my Soup
buddy SKAT who was the very
first person to welcome me to
the Poetry Soup community.
Thank you for your encouraging

For Skat A

Skat A sends a fond hello
to those who stumble on this site,
in hope to see their sureness grow
and share with all a rare delight.

For a watcher at the gate
time’s a precious gift to share,
let us therefore contemplate
the limits of the lady’s care.

We may come and we may go
with naught to give us pause
but the whole bravado
is no grounds for applause.

The entrance to a magic world
a curtain drawn and then unfurled.
