Scissored scenes lay platters simutaneously
Owl eyed creek spurs my metamorphosis 
Billowing claim is domain of striving trees

Split awareness open as oyster delivers me

is where the seams
refused to meet

 there isn't reason here
for redundancy

my "tiny dancer" is still turning
in her jewelry box 

I haven't opened her 
for years 

She is ready 
for tiny dances 
"in my head"

"hold me close"

and we are 
'Almost Famous'

I forgot to "count the headlights
on the highway"

I counted colors 
instead

Clouds as Heavenly rose bushes
     In the sky
Charcoaled veined branches
     Pushing and piercing
Entangled knotted wooden arms
     Acquiring the sky
Captivating territory
     Pressing into spongy soft
Of early darkness.

Molding their wishes into Blue
     Tranquility cut, scissored-in
As hurrying birds chisel their way
     Into darkening
Descending day.

Beneath the moon in perfect rhythm 
The shadows cling and move as one
A paragon of scissored arms and legs
Around the forest until they’re done

The Owls hoot the Larks they sing
A melody to cheer them on
The windswept leaves decor so vast
Dark in the night until they’re  gone

Ghostly bright from up so high 
The moon it glows ever brightly so 
Wolf howl far away I hear it cry
Shadows deaf they just continue to go
