Whimsical scatterings from the sky.
Fall greets her with a fresh kiss.
Bemused she twirls and dances.

Fresh blossoms of trees and shrubs
Tender blooms of vine creepers
Meek buds developing into flowers
Glistening leaves’ swaying whispers
Glorious displays of emerald runners
Liberal scatterings of dynamic colors
Soft touches of crisp gusts
Reflective bouquets of dreamy fragrance
Enthusiastic cheeps of song birds
Mother Nature’s embellishments of spring air
Listen to poem:
Leaf-fall is gracious
yielding to the restless wind
no riches to claim
in wide, frantic scatterings
burdens strewn for gathering
Rainfall is random
coming seldom when needed
too little, too much
it is such a lottery
pleading with an empty cup
Windfall apples drop
when good fortune makes a glut
wind shakes in accord
with the tug of gravity
ripe with generosity
Listen to poem:
Sixty years flashed by in one big blur
A life with scatterings of luck and good times
No, I certainly can’t complain ~
Obstacles and challenges made me who I am today
Could have tried harder but harbor no remorse
I figure I’ll be ready to face my Maker
But till then, I’ll strive to live at least a few more years ~
Long enough to compensate for wasted time along the way

The leaves fell
In an Autumn sky
In an Autumn dell
I could not see
For, such beauty
Overwhelmed me
Amongst life’s scatterings
A beautiful leaf lay
Crisp and pure
Set apart
Above, the sky azure
A leaf of Spring
A leaf of Summer
With all its’ richness
In shades of green
Now, in Autumn
its’ power lost
Not its’ life
The colour did bring
Beauty
Amongst the starkness
Of Winter darkness
Listen to poem:
Tomorrows Bells
David J Walker
It’s nature’s way of warnings
The chirping’s and howling’s
And tolling’s of bells
Clouds gatherings
And scatterings of
Of aberrant feelings
That dwells
In the late-night starlight
And the variant paths to
The various Heavens and Hells
The lines and their moving’s
In contractions and swells
The heart knows what
Comes and goes
In the dark tolls
Of tomorrows bells
My morning begins here
Early morning wanderings
down a dew drenched pathway,
between windswept irises
and pine cone scatterings
Listening to dawn's whispers,
sweet words of love
wafting through sleeping honeysuckle,
speaking softly to my heart
I pause in the wondrous serenity
of a watercolor sunrise at the gate
at the end of your walk, smiling for I know
my perfect morning begins here...with you
Good morning Soupers
Shapeless, blackness, surrounded by darkness,
Scatterings of sparkles immersed in its vastness.
Created and designed with input of knowledge,
Questions, answers, by mystery they’re hidden,
Time holds the secrets, till time loses reason.
Lost in expanse a small strip of blue,
Where life forms live, no reason no clue.
Finding their answers in knowing what they knew,
But future stays veiled through each passing season,
For Time holds the secrets, till time loses reason.
