Salient Satyr Scrunching

eyes etched eerily
in mystic mists
of taunted tracks
drooling death damped
felon feet fostering
hoisted spree heaving

salient satyr scrunching
locked laced lips
in hankering hymns

saucy smirk blushed
zeal cold-blood cupped
punctured pleck dumped

lusty limbs lurching
topsy-turvy twain tumbling.

Satyr

SHE STOOD IN FEEBLE DARKNESS
CLAD IN FLOWING WHITE
A LUCID IMAGE
TRANSFIXED WAS I
BY HER ETHEREAL PRESENCE
UNTIL I GLANCED UPON
HER FLAMING CRIMSON EYES
THAT INSTILLED IN ME
SUCH A FRIGID TERROR
THAT I COULD SCARCE
MOVE OR SCREAM
FROZEN PANIC
HELD MY GAZE
HER PALE DEAD HAND
REACHED OUT
FROM INFINITE LOCKS OF BROWN
HER INTENTIONS ANCHORED
BY SOME UNKNOWN FORCE
SHE VANISHED.
