Walk
walk, to fill time
to not think
to forget
to commune
to rework tangled thoughts.

walk, to observe
to absorb and live
to be and become
to run away.

walk, to smile again and give thanks
to return to humility and humanity
to let go and surrender
to live and to die....

Childhood Poems
I leaf through a notebook,
re-reading old poems.
I cringe at the childishness,
the bare, colliding words.
"Unsalvageable",
 I think to myself.
Better to bury them quickly,
before they try to get out.
New poems must be written;
the old cannot be saved.
Or can they?
Can I perhaps rework them,
reshape them into something new?
Could better poems be created,
if old poems are revived?...

Voices filled with thanks!

Children jumping with glee...

Easter,

In celebration of something,

Another Birthday for someone we adore...

There is money to be spent,

In spite of the economy

We rework our budgets wishing we were worry free.

Ah, but someone was happy today

twas Christmas, 'twas Christmas,...

Commitment Miracle Man 7/18/2022 Life has taught me that commitment counts, covering up mistakes and the rework mounts. I unknowingly sign my name to each task I do, should compliments come I’ll humbly thank you. I’ve often been told some mistakes you can’t see, seems unimportant things only matter to me. I can’t recall doing a task just to get it done, and I believe my work history was second to none. Life is a test, always do your best. Tom
