Cut Flowers
Cut Flowers

The scent of cut flowers arose,
Then cool water tickled her toes,
She turned with a start,
To the flower cart,
And reconnected the drainage hose....

Never Again Not Worth It
18 days after I reconnected with mother
my world now dark with grief and bother
so I'll walk the path of my sister and brother
and never again will I bother with mother

Was planning on just Christmas wishes
and Happy Birthday
but Mum I won't bother, you're vicious

Reconnected
Reconnected

All those years lost, love was affected
Now in the present, we can forget some of the past

Nightly slumbers in a faraway realm

Recharged, reconnected our soul's at the helm

Finally discharging duties here on earth

To return enlightened to the land before birth....

Last Blaze
The light in the window,
  candle in the hall

The torch in the jungle
  all beacons that call

That voice in the distance,
  the one just next door

The whisper screams loudest,
  when heard from afar

That flame that once beckoned,
  the one that still shines

Those rays reconnected,
  new vision sublime

To see it and hear it,
  to know it once more

One spark yet to strike
 —last blaze still to roar

(Villanova Pennsylvania: February, 2018)...
