Recon Reaffirmation

Beckon and Dead Reckon

I hear quaint calls that do beckon;
Determine direction must dead recon,
To find out angle where coming from;
Catch flounder, dolphin and some drum,
And need right equipment for detecting.

Planets Aligned

Planted on a planet
of alien aims
The planters plan as parents
Aliens of alien names

And so goes
The planters woes
	The Earth shows
In biopic frames

The day that is done
Leaving no one
	To recon
all that remains...

My Fighter
My fighter, my rib, you are my soul. You are so strong. When no one new you were coming, you came with no name. Silent in the night, A two pound force to be recon with. You are so strong. Unplanned but planned to make her mark. With no name, No date, Weighing in at barley two pounds. My fighter, My JAZZ!...

O Big Brother Where Art Thou
Osiris watching from the sky

Satellite recon harvesting personal

data on you and I

Sending chills down the spine

In the name of national security

Big brother is listening on the line

Privacy eroded freedoms rights scorned

Electronic surveillance now the norm

Everywhere you go Big brother knows

Everything you do Big Brother is watching you...

Dawn Demure
Dawn Demure
Dawn December day.
Machine peacefully sleeps.
Slumber banished.
RAF pilot.
Spitfire!
Kept warm, mission time, Norway bound.
Snow, fjords, mountains.
Cockpit, aboard, checks,
rise, feathery clouds.
Recon.
Fine machine, woman.
Precision engine.
Exquisite cameras, spy on Nazi’s Christmas.
Thousand mile trip, freedom.
Gentle hearts, honest loving men.
Tirpitz photos, Whitehall desks.
Experts, delicately place,
five ton Tallboy bombs.
Lancaster love....

The recon doesn't take long.
Halfway down the street will do it
before hell opens up and leaves you
shuffling along a narrow ledge overlooking
the drop. It takes all your strength
to stay upright and balanced above
what your brain tells you is oblivion.

It would be easier to stay still
and let the world circle outside, manning
the barricades with your rusty rifle
loaded with words, firing into the dark
hoping to take down a ghost or two
as they charge your Alamo....
