Lady In the Shoe
Lady in the Shoe
That fornicating old lady
Still living in that ratty shoe
The citys' gonna move it out
I wonder what she’s gonna do...

Vignette-A Breeze In the Trees
Deep down in the Wild Wood
An empyty mansion stood-
Stoats & weasels squatted there for nowt,
Ratty,Mole & Badger with a loud shout
Helped careless Toad to kick them out....

Bat
I is a bat
deep in night sky
deep
blue
in which i like to fly
i hang in the sky
the world passes bye
and when i sleep
i wake
in the morning
somtimes a little ratty
and often a little batty...

I do not know?
Constantly Clowning
Contrary to what I've been recently spouting
You can sometimes actually see this guy frowning
No one's always happy
Sometimes I can be ratty
Keep the baddies at bay by constantly clowning

The End
who is this woman who stands to claim you
twisted face and ratty hair
eyes glinting with greed
hand in your pocket
deceit in her words
I will smite her
like the bible
I'm sure God will lend me a lightning bolt
to put and end to this
misery...

That Bloody Clock
I hate that bloody clock!
Disturbing my equilibrium
Persistently whispering
Gorgeous sleep lost
Sometimes it's infernal tick
Is a sweet melody
But not right now
It's more than bothering me
I just want to sleep
Ratty as Hell
I know it's not likely
Sighs 'oh well!'...

I do not know?
State of Silence
when an ambitious hand
and a rushing mouth
cast a canopy of ramblings
or utter distress
and anxiety spoills the ground,
the state of silence
from she we think is a fool
is an answer to wisdom
and a conquerer of might
for where does the slow movement of a cat leads the ratty rat?...

Shoe
Ratty old shoe
Comfy and dirty
Molded to you foot
Laces are fraying
What was once white is brown
A little smelly
Been through a lot
Gum stuck on the bottom
But in the end
You life still has it's sole
And what ever's left of the laces
Just barely holding it together
Luckily for you it just seems to fit...

On Being Nosy
What is it to me if
The teenage girl next door
Leaves on a date dressed up
Like a downtown whore?
If her brother wears his cap
With the bill in the back
And their father drives up
In a ratty old hearse Cadillac?
Why do I let the smallest
Things annoy me so?
I think I would move away
If I had some place to go.

Durex
Durex was popular in a NY condo
His wife was Kimono Toyota Hondo
They went to Okamoto
Passed the night in a grotto
Left ratty rubbers in the bag of Londo

Limerick
Go To the Corner
go to the corner
a cascade
sitting in a ratty chair
tattered, torn, very forlorn
perfectly reflects, her child-like
despair; there is no magic to repair
her ‘sorrowful me’ rigid air while
sitting in a ratty chair
thoughts and wishes squished inside
day dreams simply refuse to fly all
tattered, torn, and very forlorn
a sniffle, begins to grow and bloom
inside her curly little dome, it
perfectly reflects, her child-like despair....

Duck
Duck has been around eight years.
We call her “Baby” though.
A stuffed duck with a broken neck.
No longer squeaks. Ratty fake fur.
One eye.
We figured out seven years ago
It would be wise to purchase a spare duck.
We purchased two of them. Exact replicas.
The dog will have nothing to do with either.
When she loses Duck for weeks, we try, to no avail.
Duck is her baby.
When we say “where is your baby?” she brings Duck.
Like a toddler, this dog....
