The Christmas Wish for children,
has really changed a lot,
once riding through a neighborhood,
one could tell what kids got.
Big red bicycles,
or a pair of roller skates,
or maybe even a pogo stick,
or an Easy Bake.
The times are really changing,
kids don't know how to play,
now the sofa, and tv,
is where they want to stay.

Still the bone remained....
Pulling on his chain; ever snarling
A tug of war with, her tree as meat loaf
Became his dreams and gobble said the turkey
Unto her queen bee ? Blue bishops atop pogo sticks a fly
With one big eye siphoning the marrow from time's sparrow; slobbering
Their madman howls holy cow his orange cat meows wow, where has Alice gone.

It’s magic at mealtimes the way she transforms;
the back legs defy all the physical norms.
She springs into action with vertical leaps;
there must be some kangaroo in there down deep.
She bounces like pogos have replaced her feet;
she’s getting that nose up to six feet or more.
A helium balloon can hardly compete;
I’m telling you, man, this pup really can soar!

Name words make me enthusiastic, that’s what they do.
Zing, Zany, Zig, Zippy, Ziggy zag zoo, delight me so.
You can never go wrong with words any direction you go.

Life is a rocky road , nothing more to tell
