My Stuffed Animal

My animal was hinting again,
staring at me in the den,
taking my meds,
he begged and pled,
could he be stuffed with a lot of phlegm?

He was violent and despised distractors.
Drives too fast, some said.
Goes too slow, others pled.
All now suffer with various fractures.

There was an old lawyer named Ruth
Who didn't mind bending the truth.
No scoundrel too bad,
If money he had.
He'd have pled self defense for Wilkes Booth.

Past Feelings

He lives forever in my mind,
For what he is I’m blind,
Yet when he scratches the back of his head,
My heart pled,
This mundane moment,
Was to me an important bestowment,
Because it means he exists,
And I’m no longer a fantasists.

Heaven and Hell

I could not find the answers on these roads that once we walked;
I pled and recommended but it was only talk;
And now it’s only contradictions in this life of push and shove;
And somewhere in the middle is this thing that we call love

Premium Member David

He wandered in the wilderness
from enemies, to save his life.
Prostrate, he cried out to confess
his sins and pled for end of strife.
Though lonely, he knew God was near
to shield him and assuage his fear.

With You Mine Will Remain

With You Mine Will Remain

If an umbrella were to spread,
And did rain and with God pled,
With Him would declare a truce,
No longer needing an excuse.

Now that I was dry as can be,
God said if you will follow me,
Flint water will go down drain
And with you mine will remain.

who knows the thoughts inside one's head
they may transcend one’s words when said
grief goes as the wind blows
the quest though mute sometimes is pled
why not take me oh Lord, instead
I would that I, you chose

Do not feel lonely the entire universe is inside you

Sanity Rising

Take madness to good use
dawn of abilities tasty juice
threads of sympathies intension
possessions and its self-assertion
to reach the beloved in vain
and love itself as gain

loading the heart of another
subtle pain and dust cover
love that is a exacting pled
self-assertive reasons dead
living means to hope survive
hoping means to live

This Rose Died For Love

This rose died for Love,
And was laid on the hand
of the queen of the land,
with the bless from above.

lost is her sweet essence,
departed is the last rose –
but why do I feel close
to her Feeble presence?

The rose died before
On the lips of a maiden
In the Gardens of Eden,
Beneath the tree of lore.

To die like a rose I pled:
For beauty I can be dead.

Faith Forsaken

It came in the night, the war
Of the same skies we prayed
Though we pled there came more
Appeals unheard, trust betrayed
Hope’s hope to be lost again
Our dignity’s pride lay bare
In the fields we tilled for grain
Our children all buried there
Our love, our peace was all taken
For what we ask, why oh God why?
How can faith be so forsaken?
By arrogance so gone awry!

Conversations With Maria

Long walks and innocent talks
the fire in her eyes felt warm

First time kisses leaping
with secrets held back inside

Silence ripped her tongue
as white nights turned to run

Long lost lyrics played down under
stolen from artistic walls
momentarily her hesitancy stalled
tell this girl all

In solitude her black plague pled
another cancerous cell was dead

Crumbling crinkly, cracker crumbs

into salty, seafood stew,

Mother made our midday meal.

Fast for favorite food we flew.

Gluttony Glenda gulped a glass

of Linda's lovely, lemon tea.

While Will wolfed down whole walnut meats,

carefully crunching kernels free.

"Savages", sister Susan said.

"Politeness, please," our papa pled.

The Fire

Shadrach, Meshsch, Abednego
He stood in the fire with them long ago
In the trial, in the change - I bet demons were chanting their names.

Jesus, Jesus -
They pled Jesus, Jesus
They stood in the fire, they saw the flames,
but they moved through it with no pain
Jesus, Jesus
Because of Jesus, Jesus
The Devil might try to knock me down
But I know who wears the crown

Fantastic but totally true,
my story I tell now to you.
This morning a criminal crew
came crashing in out of the blue!
Great fear for my life did ensue.
With cash and gold bricks in plain view,
my rings, and a tv—brand new—
I pled, “Take THESE!” What did they do?
They took all my t p in lieu!

t p--toilet paper

When I said this was true--Alas! I lied.

Cold-Blooded

Forgive me, my precious, upon love’s divine
What curse befell us, nights’ hours came alive,
They pushed me to shadows, tears burned my eyes,
If only your careless goodbye was a lie

The floorboards, a-creaking, are now crying red,
As if they too were forced shut, I dare say they pled,
Feel a smile creep in; although I know well,
Is that not your rotting flesh that I can smell?

Blood

The blood comes out,
I shout,
I want to stop,
Every drop,
Of blood.

I feel the pain,
I'm insane,
Why did i do that,
With a bat,
I don't ant to bleed,
Just pled,
With myself.

I want to die,
I don't want to lie,
I'm in hell,
I'm going to yell,
HELP ME.

Something is wrong,
My will power isn't strong,
Im not going to survive,
I'm not alive,
At heart but that's okay.

Dread

She lies peacefully in our bed dead to the world, unaware of my scrutiny. Her quiescence in that funereal repose sends an ice-cold shiver of dread throughout my entire body. My mind begins to wander through a surrealistic maze that challenges all reality. She’s asleep! I said to myself unconvincingly; then hurried to her bedside and pled out loud: Please! Let these lips I kiss be warm.

Premium Member The execution

The women fell upon the bodies of the dead,
clearing blindfolds for one last look upon their face.
Shot, against a carmine wall, no matter how they pled.
So now they mourn them through a veil of blackened lace.
A mother presses lips upon a virgin son;
a bride, in bloodstained white, whispers; she is to be;
a sister screams, at smoking guns, what have you done?
A Captain brushes some cigar ash from his knee.
